Freddy's rework: Everything sounds GREAT, but...

I think there still has to be a penalty for repairing while being asleep. If not, people will be asleep and just rush through the gens and leave. All the fun mechanics and gameplay you've designed (and you thought might slow the game down) will be useless if people just ignore it with no downside, gen rush and leave.

For instance, ignoring Plague's power and gameplay and keep repairing has a HUGE downside: you're one hit down. Here, if you know he's chasing someone else, there is no downside to being asleep.

I probably think the clock will be a last resource, or an end game resource to open the gates, since survivors can just sit on gens, no penalty whatsoever and if they feel like waking up, they miss a skillcheck and that's it. Unless you're trying to be RELLY stealthy, the time it takes for you to leave the gen, go to the other side of the map and wake up with the clock is insane in comparison to miss a skillcheck and keep repairing. And if you miss a skillcheck and he TPs to your gen, who cares? you're awake, no snares, just a basic M1 killer with no power.

Freddy will be too vulnerable to SWF groups, since one is runing around and there's literally nothing to care about by the other survivors but repairing.

My suggestion, there has to be a penalty for repairing while being asleep, at least small one, like 10% or 15%. Like Thanatophobia when 3 or 4 people are injuried. If you want to wake up, miss a skillcheck. If you don't want to give away your position, just keep repairing with the penalty.

If you dont wake up his generator teleport cooldown is reduced by 80%, good luck ever getting a gen done if hes running tinkerer.

Yeah it's going to be another one of those killers. Standing around hoping your power does something while survivors click a box that says "No power for the killer this match."
