MIcrosleep was the term used in the movie if i do remember right. During Microsleep Freddy used to appear and disappear randomly, which is basically what happens during the microsleep phase if he's within 32-16 meters.
Just wanted to give some context, don't know if you were already aware of this. 😁

@Gcarrara @SmokePotion Can 100% confirm you're right this is a term used in the movie this freddy is from.
Devs didn't just make it up they either watched the movie and wanted to make it a mechanic or were told/asked to.

Thank you for the confirmation. I did not see the movie in English, so the term used was different, and as you know sometimes translations are not well done. Glad to see they translated the term in the right way. 😁
