Windows of Opportunity should NOT reveal any fake pallets.

As a perk, WoO should be actively helping you, but as i see, on both The Doctor (not sure on this one) and the upcoming The Nightmare pallets, it does not, it fools you.

I don't think a PERK that doesn't have that huge of an impact (like Deliverance) should hinder you in any way (besides No Mither), it would be nice to have a perk that can act as a counter to killers that mess up with pallets, just like we have for some of the others, Small Game for Hag and Trapper, Spine Chill for Spirit, Ghostface and Wraith and etc...

Please make it so WoO can be a counter perk, this new Freddy is looking quite nice and i think that WoO could have a fun interaction with him and his add-ons.

Do you know how many killer perks actively hurt your chances at winning because of a survivor death condition? Thanataphobia, Save the Best for Last, etc. etc.

A perk should never counter a part of a killers power.

It wouldn't be that strong, mainly because it is situational, as said, both killers need specific add-ons to make fake pallets, so, even if you run into 300 Freedys and Doctors, there will be only a chance that they will be using the specific add-ons.

I do think perks should counter killers add-ons and powers, it happens all the time, as i said Small Game to Trapper and Hag, Spine Chill and Premonition to Wraith, Spirit, Ghostface and any sort of stealthy killer, Calm Spirit to Clown and Doctor. And any of these perks are even meta!!!

The point is people don't really use perks that do these things, the use meta #########, because they act as general base counters to the base mechanics of the game such as healing, jumping from high places, saving from hooks, avoiding and elongating chases. I don't think that the buff I suggested would be of any harm to the game's balance, but yet a fun and effective counter to two specific killers, It wouldn't bee abused, and It would only benefit the players who already use it or that have a hard time against these killers.

I agree. I might replace woo in the near future.

I think it's fine the way it is. You have to remember with the perk, you can see when someone throws down a pallet (if you're nearby). It's just a matter of paying attentiion and checking for the pallet first before you get into a chase if you can.

I'm not confusing anything. I just don't think that it would be as significant as you are making it sound like, and it wouldn't ######### on anybody since the killer NEEDS to be running a specific add-on to even make fake pallets, it ain't on their base kit.

Also, Windows of Opportunity is fine as it is, no rework needed, I just find it a really good chance to do a nice touch in the perk, since in it's base concept it should make it easier to find pallets and make easier and safer routes for survivors to run, I don't think it should HELP the killer, it is going to confuse you more than anything, not help, as every perk should.

But even then WoO wouldn't be that strong of a perk, I wouldn't call it a hard counter, since both, The Doctor and The Nightmare have other options of builds to run, that completely change their powers and playstyle, making WoO go to its base use.

As said before I think that it would be good for a underused perk to have new fun interaction with killers, it wouldn't be too strong, after all, it is chance based to even get a Freddy or a Doctor that also need to be using the specific add-ons.

Yes it should. It's already not a good perk. If someone wanted to take this perk purely to counter fake pallets then that's one less metal/useful perk for them to have in the game.

It shouldnt show any fake pallets, i agree. Its already an a trash tier perk, and it ll make things only worse in most of conditions.

    It could use the buff.

i dont see why people dont want this. it takes a perk slot from the survivor. something like adrenaline lithe balanced self care. if you want to run a perk specifically so you dont get fk'd by fake pallets instead of something meta you should be able to. i play freddy as killer and only freddy. so no im not biased.

    Agreed, it should.

Otherwise put broken pallet pieces around fake pallets or something.

Lol well..someone clearly doesnt care if the killer gets stuck with half their power from one perk..seems kinda scummy to me when red maps and small game already warn you of the pallets...asking for 3 hard counters is just...eh
