High Rank Killers are Punished
Title says it all:
-Balance issues are more prevalent
-No rewards for ranking up
-Viable Killers are Nurse/Spirit/Maybe Billy all other Killers are at a disadvantage
-SWF can destroy you unless you rely on no fun tactics, camping, tunneling, mori, etc.
-Fun factor as non-viable Killer's is non existent
Basically what I'm trying to say is, there is no incentive to rank up. Why should I stress and have a miserable time because I want to play Killer because I'm actually decent at the game to subject myself to severe imbalance and the same 1-4 Killer rotations?
For the great lacking in fun factor there is no reason to rank up at all. It just causes people to become frustrated and consider other things that are fun, i.e. Survivor, which gets boring due to either how easy the game is or dealing with Nurses and Spirits constantly which gets old, or other games which in the end loses the game money and support.

Fun thing that rank rewards have been suggested since the very first players reached rank 1 back in the day. Nothing has ever come of it. Understandable though, as most players haven't even reach rank 10.
A step in the right direction in terms of killer viability would be to rework the maps which the developers have said that they are going to do! But.. only two maps per year.. so in a decade, perhaps?
And SWFs.. add a lobby indicator to show whom's in a SWF and with who and add rewards for playing against (or with, if you're a solo survivor) SWFs.

Agreed.
I'm a player who plays a little bit more survivor but I think there is no incentive to rank up, and I'm still confused if de-ranking on purpose is ban able. It's just a trash bag of SWF, gen rushing, when you can have a better time not in red ranks, but in lower ranks. I find the purple and high green ranks the most fun.

Correct. That's why I'm staying at ranks 9 - 12 on killer and meme'ing. The developers don't take their game seriously from a competitive standpoint, so I'll just play however I want, at whatever rank I want. Until BVHR decides to properly balance this game, I don't see a reason to rank up and not only make this game less enjoyable, but limit my pool of killers to three. I'm good, I'll take the entire cast instead. It's a shame, because in most games I'd relish going against better players and learning new tactics, approaches to the game, maps, etc.

Hag and huntress are also viable, still not much of a selection though.
With the right build m1 killers can do decent.

High ranked players are punished. Regardless of killer or survivor. They need to give a reason/reward to rank.

It's why I have recommended rank-based tweaks. At purple ranks, survivors get a 5-10% repair speed debuff. Increase it to 15% at red ranks.
Basically, whether it is nerfs, or new map objectives, the higher rank you climb, the harder the maps should be for both.

Someone tell him, he can't farm down votes anymore.

The training tutorials need to be more comprehensive. Making adjustments to aid new players so they dont feel oppressed or because they dont know seems to broaden the problems once people stop making noobie mistakes.

if i can have fun playing wraith in red ranks then you can too

This opens up a cool idea,
It would be difficult for the game engine to do rank-based balancing but that would be excellent. I personally think because how different ranks can be, this would be definitely a sweet addition.

This would be terrible and would only encourage deranking.
The game needs a reason to rank up. A reward of some kind. The game wont be able to be balanced unless that happens first. Otherwise you'll be balancing around killers that should be rank 1 at rank 15 and visa-versa.

@SleepyWillo That goes without saying. You could not make it more difficult at higher level without rewards. The only way to properly balance though is by bracket. The skill level between casual and high rank is way too big to balance from the top down. This is a casual party game, not an esport style game. The bulk of the players are casual, as their own numbers have shown time and time again. Nerf survivors across the board, and you lose people, or end up with too many killers, which has happened several times over the past year.
Give an incentive to play in purple and red ranks, and increase the difficulty in order to help balance it out.

Its not every game, but it deff feels like most games. The only point Im trying to drive is balance for high ranks and rank incentive.

I agree with you but I almost fell that game already seems to encourge deranking given their is no incentive to rank up as well as the balance factors.

I do too but if you get a really good swf group then your probably gonna struggle to get one kill
