SURVIVOR AND KILLER PIP SYSTEM

Ok, Let's talk about it, point by point, without hurting anybodys feelings... I'll try to give my honest opinion on what for me should be changed and why.

Survivors pips are on these categories:

Lightbringer: Rushing gens, cleansing empty or lit totems, gettin chased by the killer while the others rush gens. So that means that no matter what you are doing, you are ALWAYS gettin points in this category as survivor (Unless you are afk, ofc)

Unbroken: The longer you stand, the more points you get Till silver = 2 pips (so basically just hiding for a while?) If you get downed and survive it's gold = 3 pips and if you don't get downed and survive it's iridescent = 4 pips. That means that if you are a female character with hiding perks and outfit and you and your team rush gens, those are 4 gifted pips.

Benevolent: (And this is the one that makes me crazier) If you OR YOUR TEAM perform unhooks and healing actions EVERYBODY is gonna receive these points, so... You can even hide the entire game and never meet your teammates... If your teammates are saving or healing you are gonna get points in this category :\

Evader: This is a good category, but too easy to gather... Winning chases or dropping pallets or distracting the killer gives you points here, but points and pips you get are NOT balanced! It's too easy to get iridescent... you don't rly need skill!! Just run through loops and drop random pallets and you will still get sooo many points!! No mindgames needed, no knowledge of looping, no pallet spots etc...


This Survivors pip system is not helping teamwork... is helping carrying bad ppl and make them get easy pips! And red ranks are full of ppl unable to get chased because they spend their entire games HIDDEN from the killer, but still winning because of the team!


Instead for killers...

Gatekeeper: You will receive points per gen remaining at 9 minutes game and for every regression action you make (Including ruin, pop, lullaby, overcharge etc) And gens remaining at the end of the game. We are in the gen rush meta... 3 gens pop in the first 3 minutes... Ruin or not, and you have not the possibility to defend gens properly in big maps or against certain players with certain perks and items! Moreover because in some games they just spawn on gens!

Devout: you have to hook everybody at least once +10% points, make at least 9 hooks +10% points AND sacrifice everybody +20% points per sacrificied survi... How am i supposed to perform NINE hooks when it's so difficult to get one in certain games?

Malicious: it's about the injuries you inflict and hook states. Everytime survivors heal their wounds you lose points... Long story short, if you hit them and you manage not to let them heal you will gather points, but sometimes you are forced to switch target or you are forced to hit to avoid bodyblocks or to get some momentum on that survivor that will spend some time to heal or get healed plus it's SOOO hard to make enough points to go for iridescent you have to hit them SOOO many times and still, just by healing, survivors will make you lose what you gathered...

Chaser: when you find survivors and win chases you get points. Shorter the chase bigger the points.. how am i supposed to find claudettes prestige 3 melding on trees or grass in such DARK maps?? If you don't find them and they roam around you, you lose points...


Going through all these things and still blackpipping is stressful... you get no satisfaction in killer games because you are forced to play over and over op things and you can't just play different builds and characters to have fun (Something that survivors actually can) AND AFTER THAT you are not still sure you are gettin ANY pip...


Survivor pips should be as hard as for killer. This should be a trial where you are running for your life instead of playing toxic to ruin killer experience... And if you play toxic, the game should punish you instead of rewarding you... Same as it does with killers who actually doesn't perform 9 hooks (To avoid 1 hooks) or can't stay near hooked survivors.
