Don't increase the bloodpoint gained from cleaning totems (mentioned in July 2019 update)

Cleaning non-hex totems is almost always a total waste of time. The latest dev update mentioned plans to increase the points gained from cleaning totems. This will only hurt survivors, because the time people will be spending cleaning the totems for no good gameplay reason could be used to do something useful instead.

Instead, rework the totem system so that cleaning non-hex totems is more useful.

Edit: this is coming from a Killer main, so the increase would actually benefit me. I'm just putting myself in the place of a survivor who's facepalming because his teammates are wasting time on totems. I wouldn't like that!

    What, just what?

Bloodpoints are an issue for survivors, getting more bloodpoints would also incentive them to counter NOED instead of whinging about it on the forums

Sorry but cleansing dull totems THAT YOU SEE BY CHANCE vs a Wraith or Freddy or something is not a waste of time, even if you personally don't use NOED it's quite common to see certain killers do so. I've had enough of people that give survivors that awkward stare or even sandbag them for "wasting time" on totems and then proceed to cry about NOED post-game.

Actively hunting them down is often a bad idea unless you have a map capable of tracking them easily or I guess small game though.

Well in addition to increasing blood point gain they could go with my idea also(making you have to remove all totems to remove all hex perks). It'd make Devour Hope have a bit more use, among other hex perks that are rarely used because they're just too bad due to how much time they take to activate. Obviously some slight nerfs to hex perks in compensation for them lasting longer, like more stacks needed on Devour/Lullaby, etc.

"could be used to do something useful instead."

    Like preventing NOED?

I'm a survivor main and i'm all down for anything that makes other survivors to cleanse dull totems.

Hmm it's not like cleansing can get rid of any game changing perks amiright?

with the amount of people who complain about noed, more incentive to do totems might lighten the load of those people

People: "Survs don't cleanse that's why noed is so powerful!"

Also the same people: "Why did you give more bp for actually cleansing?!"
