Left Behind Rework Idea
Whether you play survivor or killer, we can all agree that with the addition of Endgame Collapse (EGC) the perk has become useless since you will focus on finding the hatch instead of repairing generators and if the hatch is closed, the timer starts and the doors power anyway. Obviously the perk needs a rework and now that Bill is coming to console it would be a good time to start thinking of ideas. Here's mine:
Left Behind: You'll get the job done... no matter the cost.
For every survivor sacrificed or killed, gain an action speed bonus of 25/50/75%. Not effective when using items. Only one left behind active per objective.
The idea of the perk is to make it work more like Laurie's Perk Sole Survivor, and gives benefits once people start dying in the trial. It wouldn't be active while using items so people can't gen rush with tool boxes and only one person would be able to use it on a gen at once which would also help prevent gen rushing. Obviously the values can be changed. Let me know what you think.

You mean Action Speed? Like literally everything? Then those valuess wouldn't owrk

I can see 10/20/30, maybe even 15/30/45, but not that high of values.

gain 20/25/30% speed to Open Exit Gates.

Yes action speed as in literally everything. The values can be lowered. But I think the bonus should apply to everything so it is more useful

15/30/45 seems like a fair trade for tier three of the perk. Maybe 5/10/15 for tier one and 10/20/30 for tier two.

If the action speed buff is stackable, then I'd propose 5/7/9% as the tier three version.
Just look at how people capitalized on the Wake Up bug. Action speed is a powerful buff.

Upgrading everything cannot be that powerfull EVEN if it means that someone else died.

I proposed different values for all three tiers above which might seem a bit more fair. Check it out if you haven't already.

It wouldn't be stackable on gens. Only one person could use it at a time if multiple people were working on gens. This makes it so it can't be abused like wake up where all four people run it at once. As @masantonio suggested, 15/30/45 seems like a fair representation at tier 3 if only one person could use it on a gen at a time. More than one person could use it while healing. This wouldn't make the perk meta at all since there are many other perks you can run. On top of that, you have to wait for someone to die, assuming it isn't you, before it goes into affect when other perks are active from the start of the game. It would just make the perk a bit more useful

@Crazewtboy , I wasn't suggesting they'd be stackable on gens, I was questioning whether the action speed was stackable upon the individual with the myriad other perks that already give bonuses to particular actions.
Action Speed buffs would increase: repair speed, healing, cleansing, sabotage, vaulting, running, gate opening, et al. Since there's already things that buff these, something that buffs them all should be lower.

@ElusivePukka Pretty sure running isnt an action speed (thus not getting increased by other things) but yeah that's why i was worried

It's been lowered and the values have been changed. Making it too low would make it almost useless.

When Wake Up broke it was an accidental action speed buff, and increased run speed, so...
@Crazewtboy If you think 7% on all actions is useless, I question how many hours you have in the game.
Even if run speed isn't included, then that 7% action speed could feasibly be buffed to:
- +82% struggle
- +56% for opening gates
- +42% recovery
- +124% healing
- +91% Saboteur
- +53% unhooking
- +45 repair
et al. from perks in an optimized team in addition to the proposed rework - keeping in mind I'm only using T2 of my revision idea - you can see how too much from the one perk that alters them all is a bad idea.
I maintain that going above 5/7/9% action speed buffs for the T3 version would hurt the game.

For the record, I have almost 2,000 hours in the game. What you listed above would be assuming there is someone there with prove thyself and other perks. I feel like 9% would make the perk a slightly better version of resilience. Of course, I wouldn't know for sure unless I saw it in a PTB.

Wakeup so much so that it shows its aura to the other survivors isn't for solo survivor.
