Restricting SWF isn't happening, devs obviously want to pursue the buff solos -> buff killers that need it approach.

There is no solution. People wanna play with their friends, some run in toxic groups just to ruin the game for killers, use mics to help each other out, etc, etc. And before you start sharpening your claws, I know already. Not all swf's play that way. When someone gives a decent solution or "fix" to it, there crucified. So, What's the point?

I agree. But mics and chat should be disabled too. You shouldn't be able to communicate with other survivors, pin-pointing every move the killer makes. That's my prob and it's not just SWF either. On PS4, they go into party chat and still communicate while running solo. I get group invites 2 outta every 5 games when I play solo survivor, so I can just imagine how bad SWF is on ps4 with it. What if the killer could communicate with the entity and know every move your team makes?

I can agree with that, but their playstyles sure as hell could use restrictions. I think it would go a long way if we made it to where each swf group could only have one of each item type per group. Groups of 3 or more aren't allowed any ultra rares. Groups of 4 aren't allowed any very rares. These kind of changes would only affect swf groups and leave solos to play as normal.

It never ocurred to me that this could happen since my profile is private. Hopefuly it is less prevalent in eu. If not, then it is swf nearly every game on ps4? That would be sick!

Sorry, wrong comment. Isn't there a program you can code into the game to disable mic and chat and detect if people are using them and possibly punish them? I mean, you can't tell me that's a fair tactic they use...

Cheaters will always find a crutch somehow, right? I give up. This forum is so survivor biased, why even try? Everytime someone mentions some kind of help for killers, the survivor clan attacks them, calls them a ######### player, tells them to get better,etc,etc.I'm out. ✌

You're literally asking the devs to snoop users computers for com software because you can't handle SWF, which is a large portion of the people that play this game, but there's a low amount of 4-MAN, it's mostly 2-man SWFs + solo.
Seriously, just get better. You probably spend your time dodging lobbies you think will be hard and then complain when you don't notice a team is SWF and they stomp you because you have only experienced solo survivors.

The suggestion actually has to be possible in order for it to be taken seriously. It's been explained a number of times that you can't just eliminate voice communication for swf groups since it's done with 3rd party programs.

Your PC has a word for what you're describing, and it's "virus." Behaviour cannot police your hardware or outside software (outside of anti-cheat to prevent game client tampering). Voice comms are what they are. If anything, the solution is to either a) try to arbitrarily limit SWF via rank restrictions and/or smaller group sizes, or b) add voice comms into the game and just be honest with everyone about where things realistically stand.

Any place that's not a Killer Support Group is survivor biased!
Survivors shouldn't be able to heal! Gens should take thirty minutes more! Keys are broken but Ebony Moris require skill! Teabagging is the most toxic thing in the game! Survivors should only get one perk each so it's 4 perks vs 4 perks! Devs haven't nerfed survivors since the beginning of time!

It's not "survivor biased" in the slightest to point out that it's completely pointless and a waste of time to try to block VOIP applications in a multiplayer game with a party function, it's just straight up fact.
If that's "survivor biased" to you then I don't know what to tell you.

My man says that playing with friends is a form of cheating now. Devs will never ever block any form of VOIP software (you can't block Steam chat). Even if they did, I could still easily use Discord or whatever on my phone. For your last point, if survivors try to get help for something, then the killer "clan" will also attack them, am I wrong? It's a vicious cycle at this point.

They can't do it simple as that. What you are asking is never going to happen. It's not about bias but you can play that card if you want but all that does is actually show your own.
To try and enforce this sort of spying on a PC for one would be a death sentence for any game as they are asking you to allow them to scan all your running pc apps or ram for the software and then sending a a signal to close it down or disable the Mic in Windows.
Even anti cheat software wont go that far.
I don't think you realise what tou are asking for is also against the privacy laws in quite a few countries. EU for one is very big on antitrust situations and have fines the likes of Microsoft and Google for breaches.

Can BHVR restore livestream #6 on the Youtube channel so we can hear one more time when they said they would never allow premades into regular matches because it would be impossible to balance due to 3rd-party communication?

no one is going to actually dodge until they are in the same lobby. i've tried it with my friend, when swf weren't a thing, it really makes you say 'w/e im going solo'.

That's fine:
Kindred, Bond, Empathy, etc baseline. Basically all of the perks that being on comms gives you, give to solo players and rework them.
Anything that gives blindness should also deafen which would be no sound and no terror radius.
Knockout removes sight from the survivor on the ground(makes sense they're knocked out)
All killers buffed as a result of the free perks.

It's not cheating in a sense that it's not allowed, but rather it cheats the actual function of the game. The game was not built with comms in mind. That being said SWF on comms get NUMEROUS perks in addition to their 4 that solo players would have to equip as well as negating several killer perks and add ons. It's essentially cheating, not literally cheating.

Nobody is denying SWF isn't a large portion of the people playing? The issue stems from terrible killers coming to the forums to say every match they play is 4-Man Blendette squads, and then people telling them there isn't that many 4-Mans.
It's killers perpetuation of information and people correcting them which is getting your panties in a twist.

In those earlier days... it was way way way WAAAAY easier to get into the same lobbies.
It is actually harder now cause of how the new MM is made. But not impossible when you consider survivor queues are faster.
And people were dodging like crazy back then.

Have 2 modes.. ranked and unranked
SWF and KYF are only unranked and earn X amount of blood points, but doesn't consume add-ons/offerings to play
Ranked is all solo and earn X+%X more BPs per match, burnes add-ons/offerings to play

What you don’t understand is that there is discord. Skype. Phone. Everything out there can be used. There’s no stopping SWF so just stop trying. Let people play with friends, on a game that’s already limited and boring enough

Ive played plenty of solo games on PS4 and the only time I get party invites are to farm which is pretty rare.

Especially since the Devs directly said that SWF was always planned to be implemented in the October 2018 stream (or around thereabouts), which seems like convenient revisionist history on their part if what he says about the now missing Livestream #6 is accurate.
