All I thought I knew was a lie.
The Huntress seriously needs to be changed in regards to some perks. Ever since they nerfed Franklin's Demise, like really hardcore, other perks such as Make Your Choice and NOED don't function with her axes either. It's at least a relief you get a Remember Me stack with a hatchet hit, but these two perks should also trigger on hit.

That’s very disheartening, and I hope this gets noticed by the developers. As a ranged killer, her axes should gain power from perks.0

IMO, those perks should trigger from any physical hits, whether they be due to abilities or not. So Anna's hatchets would work, but Herman's shocks would not.

If that happens I cri. Every tim.
But yes, phisical contact should count. I think they mainly changed it because of Franklin's so my suggestion was to put a meter on that perk. To trigger Franklin's you have to be in an 8 meter range, thus a chainsaw would trigger it again, as it should but long shot axes wouldn't. That way we can buff these perks back to what they should be anyway.

To be fair a long range axe hit wouldn't matter with Franklin's as you can just pick your item back up. To be honest Franklin's is only good if the team is bringing in items and 90% of the time that's a box or flashlight, so getting the survivor to drop them is what that perk should be doing long range or not. I agree it should only be physical hits even though i'm still dreaming of that doctor build ^.^

It's not a bug, it's a "feature" made on purpose. They do not want to promote ranged one shots, which is debatable ofc.
