Wiggle off killer, drop down stairs

I just had this happen to me. I escaped the killers clutches but before that happened he positioned me over a set of basement stairs so that when I escaped clutches I fell down the distance and had no chance of getting away. Is there a name for this? I hate it.

I dont think theirs a name for it, but it used to be a pretty common move to counter DS when you could still juggle it.

-laughs- Oh yeah I've used this strategy on MULTIPLE occasions. Doesn't work well on Balanced Landing users but is still pretty effective. It's even more broken on maps like Grim Pantry as the pantry itself has a double set of stairs, so generally you recover from the stun before the survivor even hits the ground if you let them wiggle out at the top of the stairs. I also feel like it would be somewhat effective over the hole in the ground on the Temple map as there is a choke point that the survivors NEED to use to escape.

I mean, I'll position the drop so the person won't have anywhere to go but through my threatened area if I know I'm not making it to a hook and I'm feeling cheeky enough not to just drop them myself. It's just good counterplay to hooking issues. Some of the new totem spawns are actually excellent places to trap survivors who've been naughty.

It's an old trick to deal with DS when it could be used anytime. Run balanced landing.
