Yes, but not in SWF, who if they are experienced survivors can carry you and get you boosted in ranks. I have sympathy for solo survivors in low ranks or are new to the game, but they misplace the blame for their experience on the killer.

The problem for a survivor is other survivors.

Camping and Tunneling are generally newer killers that do not quite understand that you are better off not doing it. It isn't that they are being malicious it is just inexperience. Newer killers understand the objective is to kill to it makes sense that they camp and tunnel. Once you get to Rank 12 or so, the Camping and Tunneling severely drops off.

Also you get much better teammates that are not as inexperienced which is also a high rank problem.

This is why it is important to play both sides to fully understand that things are not black and white.

I am the oposite. First I played survivor for like 6 months. Then I switched to killer for 3 months. Took me a while to get to rank 1 as a survivor (probably because I didn't play killer) but after I played killer in red ranks I became even better at surviving than before. And I was improving faster as a killer because I knew how survivors think. I reached red ranks as a killer pretty fast.

Before people jump in to say rank doesn't matter I know. It matters a little bit tho we can all agree.
