Bill's Left Behind Perk

I want to post about Left Behind, because this perk is actually useless in the current state of the game. If you are the last survivor alive, the hatch will become available. At which point, there is almost no reason to be going for generator repairs, considering that if the Killer finds the hatch first. They will then shut the hatch, causing Endgame to start and you will then be prompted to open a door and not have to worry about the generator in the first place. Even in the scenario where there is only 1 generator remaining and hatch is open. Why would you risk trying to finish a generator vs wait for the killer to shut the hatch and go for the door if you really didn't want to try and find the hatch or just go for the hatch being the safer option.
