Exponential Leaver Penalty
Yes, you all have probably hear this before, but that doesn't mean its still not needed, and as a coder, personally i don't see the difficulty of adding an exponentially increasing penalty for leavers. If leavers (people who leave or DC before they die on a hook or die in a Mori) leave they should take a penalty of not playing the game for an amount on this formula y=(0.3)(2.8(^x)) -0.3.
I carefully did the math, and this formula doesn't go into insane decimals but makes it so the first 2 DC's in a row aren't met with more than a minute or 2 of waiting, which most people who honestly DC will be fine with, but after that, with 3 DC's which many will agree is when it becomes worrying, it shoots up to 6 minutes, and increases up to nearly 20 minutes after 4 DC's. as someone who codes and as you can probably tell, does love this game and a bit of math, I really don't see what is holding off a situation like this, sure it may stop a few people from playing, but what is worse, a bit more loading time from finding survivors and killers, or 1/4 games being resulted in a DC. which is a conservative measurement. just really want people to have fun with this game, and its annoying seeing so many people get annoyed playing over an issue simple to implement. If Im wrong on the difficulty of implementation, Im more than happy to discuss alternatives, but something needs to be done to preserve the spirit of this game.
