The struggles of both roles
Killer
The rapid pace generators are completed
The amount of space that is put between you and the survivor when they drop a pallet or vault a window, allowing them to continue to run the loop or buying them time to run to another area (loops & maps may vary)
And finally... swf (survive with friends groups)
Survivor
Solo queues (depends)
and lastly, playing against a killer who tunnels (unless you get lucky xD)
I've been playing this game since it released on console (yes i'm a console player) and throughout my time playing I can assume that most players can agree with me on this, if not the majority of players. Let me know If I missed anything.

the worst part of playing killer is map design. gen speed and the distance survivors get between tiles are symptoms of this, and SWF doesn't really matter since swf groups composed of bad players aren't any harder to beat than solo survivors, and SWF groups composed of good players aren't any different than a solo group of 4 good players
the worst part of playing solo survivor is your teammates

I’m actually doing pretty good with Leatherface, keep track of where survivors run try to have one hooked and one slugged always.
For the survivor things I’d say tunneling can suck but it is sometimes needed, I generally try to avoid it though.
