Right now, I'm not upgrading Whispers past Tier 1 on any of my killers, due to the inherent strength of it during 1v1 EGC. Sure, during the match itself it's weaker, but if you get to the 1v1 EGC, having an extra 16 meters of detection is God-Tier busted. Exits that are slightly further apart than comfortable for killers without it/fully upgraded becomes easy af to patrol, because you can tell when they're at one exit gate or the other. It doesn't negatively affect you if the exit gates are closer, as you simply depend on your eyes more than the perk. And even at Tier 1, it helps you locate Survivors well enough that upgrading to Tier 3, to me at least, doesn't feel %100 necessary, thus making Tier 1 better by miles imho.

This seems counter-intuitive.

Obviously reversing the range in regards to it's tier will bust it for players who like it's effect at a smaller range, so are there any other ways we could change this so that Tier 1 isn't better in the 1v1 EGC than Tier 3?
