My last game

So I just made an account to complain about this since it happened to me maybe 3 or 4 times now.

I just wanted to play a Ghost Face game since I like playing him the most, I am at around 65 hours of playtime now so I consider myself a noob in this game and that is totally ok for me. What is not okay for me are the people that I encountered again, I got matched with a person that had 2.5k hours and the other 3 survs had something similar from how they played the game, instead of finishing the game quickly after recognizing my "skill level" they used me as their plaything for about 20-25 minutes, they didn't tbag or any really toxic ######### like that but instead of finishing gens they perma bodyblocked me and so on. Some may say now "why didn't you dc" simply because that is even worse than being toxic + I wouldn't want to give them that satisfaction if that was their goal. I am having fun with the game and I don't mind playing against more experienced people but this behaviour is just really bad for a game with a smaller playerbase like DbD.

I know this complain won't change a damn thing but I felt like I needed to let this out somewhere since it kinda bothered me for a bit now.

Off topic: I saw someone ask why the devs don't ban camping for killers, are those people serious? Isn't that as viable of a tactic than gen tapping, using pallets, looping and don't forget toxic perks like Adrenaline but I guess we killers have NOED to counter that atleast. And no I usually don't facecamp or tunnel.

How can a Killer be body blocked?

    No Perk is toxic.

Anyway, I would just go afk in one Corner, facing that Corner. If they want to waste their time running around, they should do it.

If you have a surv on your shoulder they can block your movement, mostly done to give the dead surv more time to wiggle free. And as far as I know the collision doesn't disappear no matter what.

Ok that is your opinion on the perks. The corner thing is just as "dumb" as their behaviour. This isn't a case of fighting fire with fire. That can't be the solution but just to clarify this I don't think the community will change and that is mostly fine since these kinds of encounters are luckily rather rare.

That's not perma body blocking though. You can simply put the survivor down and go after the others.

So a group of experienced survivors were willing to be chased for 20 minutes without “being toxic” instead of slamming gens in 5 minutes and leaving and you are complaining about that? I’d love to play against them to practice.

If they toyed 20 minutes with you I hope you learned something. They could have finished in 4 minutes and left you wondering ######### just happened.

Sucks that you got matched against people you really shouldn't have had to face, but nothing they did was really bad.

Leave the whining to the survivors. You call yourself a killer? Man/woman up, take the loss and play again. You win some, you lose some

I don't really want to quote everything so I do it rather simple.

    1. they didn't only bodyblock me while I had someone on my shoulder.
    2. I will keep playing the game, ofc you win some you lose some but how the F am I supposed to learn something if they just run infinite loops and bodyblock me around the map?
    3. I know there are a lot more toxic people out there and what they did isn't really toxic but those games are just boring as ######### so I'd rather have them gen rush in 5 minutes and leave the game instead of holding me hostage for 25 minutes.

You can never be perma body blocked ***as Killer**. If you swing at them and hit them, you clip through them. So your reasoning doesn’t make sense.

It's impossible to be permanently body blocked as killer. It just can't happen.

Ok so the forum is basically the same bs than ingame atleast mostly. Instead of giving maybe some helpful advice people just try to destroy your comments. Atleast I learned something from that. And they can if they just take a hit and then go and heal. If 4 people do that it gets really really annoying and maybe you are right it may not be a 24/7 permanent but permanent enough to be a reason to dc and that is enough to call it permanent in this case, maybe not per definition but i really dont give a ######### about that

They can't heal that fast dude. I get it, you couldn't figure out how to stop getting blocked, but in the end that's in you. The survivors do not have the ability to body block you in the way you're describing.

Usually when I get games like this I will take the opportunity to work on my chase. I am not good on either side of the chase so it is welcome for me. With limited pallets (haha, funny I know), bloodlust, and exhaustion requiring no sprint there aren't any "infinites" technically. Just don't drop the chase on someone, even when someone tries to bodyblock for them. Chase the one until down, but learn from the chase. Pay attention to the pathing choices and available cutoff paths, etc. Learn to use the red stain to mindgame the survivors and soon you will be telling them where to go for the hit, not the escape. See you in the fog.

They get in your way smack them out the way. Drop and chase.
