New type of Exploit

I just created an account to post the problem here.

Apologise if i'm in the wrong section.

I have faced the problem twice today now, and once yesterday.

but the recent exploit just annoyed me and made me lose all my add-on and offering.

One survivor was deliberately working with the killer. He wasn't just blocking, or telling the killer where we are, or telling us to follow him and purposely lose skill checks on generator (3 times). He leads the killer to us, the killer hooks us and stands 5 feets away, the survivor unhooks us and while we're stuck in animation, the killer kills us then re-hooks us.

it happened twice today. But the last one just irritated me because I lost my add-ons and offering to this.

This is on steam, and with steam, you can find out the killer's name when in game using steam overlay choosing "view players" and i'm assuming they're adding the killer/survivor that way and interacting with.

reporting/recording the exploiters in game feels not enough, and sometimes tiresome. For me, I just leave the game, I feel it doesn't have much impact.

But the main concern now is the steam showing the killer's name. I know it's difficult to find a solution to this, but as a suggestion, I'd say give a penalty to killer/survivor.

One suggestion is if you hook a survivor, and the survivor gets unhooked, during the first 5 seconds if you hook him, you get less points, or none perhaps.

would eliminate campers and exploiters.

This can also work as survivors, a penalty/less points for something else.

Just hope a dev sees this, great game, and surprisingly the players (both killers and survivors) are friendly! Exploiters are the toxic ones.

    It's not "new".
    It's actually very old.

It used to be reported easily to mods via video proofs, but since they removed the website to do so, now they're pretty much going unchecked.

    Then thats my fault.

I didn't actually know it was a thing before, I thought it was new one.

Guess i'm not alone here ^^

I was just frustrated today with this.

    It's actually pretty frustrating indeed.
They usually equip bond and just block you/team with the killer and show him where you are to get you killed, and then, proceed to sandbag you on the hook

That's not an exploit, that's just your teammate being an ass. There already is a system in place to discourage that, survivors lose points towards the benevolent emblem if they do that to you. The killer is not in the wrong, and while your teammate was certainly being an ass, he was being punished for it as well.

Well the exploit would be using steam's recent players to get the name of the killer, add him and communicate the strategy

Killers not wrong?!? For being the back half of unsportsmanlike play?!? If you help a survivor farm his team you are not only as bad you may be worse!! Stop using bad balance issues and "its strategy" as an excuse for being a bad killer and a jerk!! Killers should take whatever crazy weapon they have handy and stick it so far up that farmers as..... sorry, but yeah dont help him, just dont :)

Well the killer is not your friend so you can't really blame him for capitalizing on a survivor essentially forfeiting the win.
