Locating items in Trial

Just a thought that I had, but I feel like the lost & found, in the realm of the Entity, is close to bursting. How many item are not utilized by survivors because they can't find them. A survivor might not bother to even glance at an opened chest, with an item in it, because they presume it to be empty. And good luck finding that key in tall grass, courtesy of Franklin's Demise.
Suggestion: Give items a telltale effect to help locate them.
- (A reference picture)
- An ember type effect. Small noticeable particles slowly rising from the item
- Gleam. A typical video game glimmer, to indicate that something is interactable
- Aura (at X range). This might be too powerful, but this could be added to an existing perk that is in need of a buff (E.g. Streetwise)

This would be fun as addons or an offering, but frankly I don't think this needs to be a base mechanic.

I think this is a great idea! The particles would look sick.

Really interesting idea! I like your take on suggestion 4, adding it to an existing perk, especially one related to items! Good thinking! 😁
