Every survivor can complain and whine about Freddy and how OP he is but no one seems to care about the bs that is keys

->playing a game

->survivors finish 3 gens

-> survivor with key finds a hatch

->all 4 survivors escape through said hatch

1 survivor should be allowed through the hatch when opened with a key, it requires no skill to find a hatch and finish a couple gens to allow a team of survivors to cut a game off so early

That's not how the hatch works. To make the hatch spawn you need to repair one gen more than the alive survivors, so if all 4 are alive, they need to do all 5 gens.

I play on PS4 so it might be a glitch, but I’ve definitely had all 4 survivors escape through the hatch in game. Besides that it still doesn’t make sense to have more than 1 survivor escape through hatch.

If you had all four survivors escape through the hatch, then either there's a big glitch, or they got all five gens done first. And at that point (especially if they're all together at the hatch and you're not in the process of downing one) chances are they're going to escape anyway.

If it was three survivors who escaped, they may have gotten 4 gens done first and the hatch appeared when you got the second. That can be incredibly frustrating, but it's pretty rare in my experience for all the survivors to escape that way (one sometimes does, but the hatch only remains open for a short time and the killer can close it if they find it while it's open, so without comms or extraordinary luck it's not going to happen often).

But you can close it. If you find them when only 1/2 peple jumped in, they're screwed.
