Suggestion for players with disabilities...

My cousin likes to play DBD on my PS4, but unlike some buttons which can be re-mapped to other buttons on the PS4 - there's currently no way to re-map the wiggle to anything other than the thumbstick. Could you make an option to change it to a button to press (like people have on PC)?

Accessibility isn’t really BHVR’s strong suit.

Shame because wiggling and struggling on the hook can make the game very painful for me.

Atleast struggling on the hook is just a button press, not sure why the option to change it wasn't already included from the beginning.

    This is important.

I also feel like (and maybe this is just me) button mashing isn't the best or most accessible thing for struggling. On top of possibly being difficult for some people, lag sometimes kills you even when you're clearly pressing the button.

Can't we just change struggling to holding a button down instead of mashing it over and over? Makes everyone's life easier

As a killer main with a 90/10 split, this is completely reasonable. There's really no reason to not just allow someone to hold a button or something since this game's wiggle and struggle functions arnt determined by how fast a person mashes a button, but rather has fixed rates.

@Peanits Sorry to tag you but was wondering if anyone on the team has seen this and put any thought into it?

I hope this happens eventually so more people can play.

Options for the deaf and colorblind modes would be nice.

i'm replying pretty late here but i'm really hoping someone from BHVR notices this, i think regarding killer there's nothing that should be added but for survivors there should really be options like toggle to sprint / crouch and holding a button down while struggling on the hook, as a disabled gamer its sometimes frustrating being unable to play survivor unless there's someone with me to help me button mash, hopefully someday this'll change

Btw, wiggling with a joystick doesn't have to be a rough left and right, just keep a steady pace of rotating the joystick in a circular motion. Doesn't have to be fast either, it'll wiggle the same speed.

Upvotes for everyone, this topic should be more visible! I'd also like struggle to be, by default, active, and leave you with a button to stop struggling. This would have saved me from more than a few deaths at the hands of a killer's terrible internet, rather than their weapons

Does anyone know if there's any way to tell if any of the devs have seen this thread?
