Rage Quitting, and Suggestions about it.
I believe rage quitting is a problem that’s needs a fix on both sides.
First, I believe anyone with a DC rate over 10% killer or survivor, should get punished somehow.
Second, Killers should get BBQ stacks for DC, survivors should get a single WGLF stack. Both sides should also get a hefty rank and point compensation as well.
Third. A rampant problem is killers ability to make everyone else lose all progress by (not gonna day it, and teach others how to screw people over). This definitely needs some kind of attention. Maybe have a safety net so people don’t de-pip, and lose items.

Give me a casual mode, fix bugs, remove exploits and get a proper anti cheat engine (EAC = easily applied cheats)
Then we can talk about DC punishment in ranked mode again1 -
The first thing would be to, at least, get a delay before being able to jump in another match if you disconnect.
The main reason people disconnects is "I'm not gonna be rescued/I don't like this killer/I don't like this map/I don't like this offering, I might as well disconnect and get to the next match asap".As a mod around here, suggested, getting at least a 5mins timer after disconnecting should be a thing. I wouldn't hinder ACTUAL disconnections/emergencies, but it would at least not give full benefits to disconnecters.

Hello Jack11803!
I agree with Runiver regarding a delay in starting another match. League of Legends and a few other games have this similar build: One disconnect/leave from a match = a 5-minute wait. Two disconnects/leaves = 10 to 15-minute wait. Three disconnects/leaves = a 30-minute wait timer. Then it exceeds to a 24-hour ban. If you want to DC constantly from a match you're going to be penalized. I understand some situations call for you to leave immediately unexpected but you have a choice... DC, or leave your character AFK to help your team gain points, distract the killer or have the killer get points just hooking you and killing you like a normal match.
This problem is EXTREMELY easy to fix and the DBD Team did implement a "timer/wait" system if you dodge any lobby which is ODDLY applied to Survive With Friends which is 5 seconds... (awkward pause). However, no timer/wait system was designed nor implemented by clicking "Leave Match" or DC through ALT F4 or ethernet pull/wifi disconnect.

I also think that if a fellow survivor decides to DC, the other survivors should gain points in Survival or something. Too many times do I come across a survivor who gets chased and down within 1 minute of the match to only DC.
We are then stuck with repairing 5 gens still. So often does the Killer capitalize on this by slugging the game. Down one person, find another, down them, find the last, down them.

How about instead of punishing people, we first fix the issues that cause the problems and then we cna punish them when we have actual reason to be punishing them?

But most people do ragequit for no other reason than "I want to get to the next match because that's how I feel".
I'm not sure about what would be YOUR reasons to ragequit in the current game, but there's not that many. I actually never actually ragequitted in this game since the release, and I doubt someone leaving for ACTUAL REASONS would actually care about a 5mins delay.0 -

Since I play high ranks, I'd just ragequit every rounds tbh.
I just got used to it atm, I go full enduring and BS and just go full in.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6dxfosuYlGk&feature=youtu.be
Not the ideal solution, but it's better than running 5 loops.
