What is everyone’s opinion on the new pre-school?

Imo the old pre-school was a balanced map but I feel like on the new one(s) the gens are really spread out and the loops feel safer.

I think they did a very good job on the looping. The placement of where everything is though is a bit confusing since I’m used to the older version of the map, but I love it nonetheless!

    I don't know where I'm going

I kinda like the design of 'more pallets but less safe' though, they seem... alright so far.

I really enjoy it. It flows really nicely. It's just big enough to give you mere moments of peace yet is small enough to allow even the slowest of killers to close in at any moment. The loops genuinely feel like a test of skill and mindgames rather than mindless running.

    Round of applause, BHVR! 👏👏👏

I am loving them so far. I find that the larger amount of less safe pallets is better than having a smaller amount that are very safe.

I feel lost and confused but in a good way.

So I guess I like them 😄. Gotta fix that uncleansable totem spot though.

I'm feeling the time crunch more acutely, now. I'm getting used to the extra pallets, and the shorter loops scattered around aren't bad, but my god, are the maps big.

As a surv main i really like these new maps, even if i cant loop hardly and its design is nice, but i think they should delete old map it is still unbalanced and boring to play on it, because it is too small.

I didn't like Badham originally, simply because the map design left me with a feeling of I'm about to lose this game on both sides (but survivor was typically because my team was bad so I'm mainly referring to killer), and now I feel like they made the map bigger and a bit harder for the killer to pressure. On top of that, me constantly getting the map makes me hate it even more because I like variety. Oh, I forgot to mention that all versions of the map kill the frame rate on console (at least on PS4) so that's fun.

i really , really hate the totem spots they are waaay too hidden for a perk thats supposed to be risky to use imo

Disabling them is also supposed to be risky. Hiding them makes it high-risk, high-reward for both sides, as opposed to high-risk, high-reward for killers and low-risk, high-reward for survivors.

how is it risky for survivors to cleanse them tho? i mean , i see no risks in getting rid of hexes unless theres haunted grounds

I love them but i think version 2 needs to be shrank a little it feels WAYYY to big if im being honest.

Also a few of them have deadzones that i think should be addressed a little other then that i love them.

I love the new stairways, they block attacks against this Trapper one game :) And the details of the new housings!

Also, what are the differences between all 5 maps? I don't see many differences..

I'm really loving the new aesthetic of the maps and quite a few of the new looping mechanics

Though I feel the map Badham 2 is waaaay too big for it's own good. It makes playing a Trap or stealth character quite difficult as there is just so much ground to cover and it takes so much time to traverse the map. I also found some issues with hook placement being a bit too far apart

Overall the maps are great fun for both Killer and Survivor. Some of the houses are literally a balanced landing survivor's perfect dream with so many escape routes
