When, in a remote future, dedicated servers will be turned off, will we be able to play with p2p?

@not_Queen @Patricia @Peanits In September 2019 we will have the precious gift of dedicated servers: we are all waiting for them with trepidation and enthusiasm. There is only one remote shadow that troubles me... 5, 10, 15, 99 years in the future, when perhaps it won't be convenient anymore for you developers to keep dedicated servers turned on, will it still be possible for unwavering players to continue to savor the realms of the Entity with peer to peer? Have you considered leaving present, but dormant until the dedicated servers remain operational, the current mechanism, so as to guarantee a virtual eternity to your awesome game? :)

The cycle of games goes like this:

Small dev team created a wonderful product.

Devs develop it over the course of 5-10 years

Dev team sells it off to large game conglomerate that maintains it after its course of life.

UO has been online since the 90s and still kicking.

The only thing that worries me about the servers is: are we all going to have a server or will there be regions like South America that will have to connect to North American servers, for example? That'd be a lag fest.

    Nope, I highly doubt it.

They aren't going to do work on dedicated servers.. then make sure all their future changes translate to P2P.
