it's been like this for quite a long time and I didn't hear devs talking about it, it's a bug I believe but the way the devs handling it seems like it's intentional/new mechanic? Did I miss something in the patch notes?

Also i forgot to say even gens are showing slight details of survivors (mostly hair) if you paid attention..

    I mostly find it nice to not have survivors hidden behind a bright light that lasts several seconds.
