Are you ever going to consider removing SWF?

In order to recreate the original Balance of the Game and to restore the intended uncertainty?
In the beginning, it wasn't supposed to be there because not knowing what the team does was part of the game. Only after a lot of comlpaints you budged and add it to the game.
Now the community is heavily split due to SWF. The one half hates it, the other loves it.
But one thing is certain, playing with/against SWF makes an enormous difference for both the killers and survivors who are not part of the group.

    Not, SWF isn't going away. They actually are considering to boost the solo players to make them to the level of a SWF team.

    Basically, they wanna turn the game into a team game rather than a 1v1v1v1 vs 1 killer original game.

    Sadly, they kind of have to for balance. I’ve been saying it for months in general, and weeks on here. Solo comms is only way to balance SWF, with both being equal, then killers could get a buff/ survivors a nerf

    I guess. A shame. THe original concept was more interesting than a 4man team.

    They are buffing killers finally to help combat this. Trapper: yeah, I popped his trap under the palllet, it's safe!
    20 seconds later: what the hell, you said it was safe! Rip dwighty

    Buffing killer perks too and adding more detection perks, killing loops with bamboozled. We don't know what else they already have planned for killers, we only know what they told us. But ultra rares for nurse and billy? Gonna be beast.

    Well, you cannot stop people from using Discord. Coming from that, either you delete SWF, which would be suicide at this point for this company, or you just give advantage to solo players and try to boost killers accordingly in exchange. (or try to... I'm kinda doubtful.)

    It just needs re-working 
    SWF should be your perk and offering so you go in with nothing and have to find your flashlights in there

    I mainly hope to maybe get a statement of some of the devs themselfes. They're the only ones who really know what they'll do in this game. :/

    I'll say this again, the game is not meant to be competitive. Perhaps this was there intent when creating the game but with how it is "balanced" this game would do so much better in a more "casual" setting. I believe rank, and I use this term lightly with this game, should be removed entirely. I personally want a competitive survival game (hopefully Death-garden) but I would be ok will a lot of the broken, unbalanced stuff in this game if they just accepted that its more casual. Point being remove rank and a lot of toxicity would resolve itself. By no means all of it but you would see a noticeable difference.

    True. I personally love playing SWF but hate playing against it. And I'm one of the SWF players who don't need voice comms. I get your point, maybe buffing killers instead is the right way.

    Exactly this. It's great to hop on DBD after work with a few buddies and play together, most of the time I only play with one friend. Seems a lot more fun played with friends. HOWEVER, if you're a killer then it's hell if I'm honest and it's just not fun at all. I can handle 2 SWF's just fine but any more than two and I refuse to play that match. Far too much stress and toxicity usually. And like, I don't exactly want SWF to be removed because I want to still be able to play with my friends, but at the same time I want an option to avoid it as Killer. It's such a ironic thing to say I know.

    I just don't know how you'd fix that issue though. Limit SWF down to 2 players? Create a filter match system where players can tick what type of matches they want to be put in? Not sure.
