Exposed Status Effect Suggestion
Straight To The Point
You know when you get exposed by Ghostface, you can see your remaining time by looking at your health state? Well, since the developers want to close the gap between SWF, and solo queue survivors, why not make every exposed status effect appear on everyone's health states?
For example, if someone got unhooked, and the rescuer got an exposed status effect on their health state, you would know that the killer has MYC.
Another example is when the Obsession gets an exposed status effect on their health state when the Exit Gates were powered, you would know that the killer has Rancor.
I know this wouldn't make a huge difference, but it definitely be a step forward for the game's health! :)

Bumping so that this gets some attention

As long as it doesn't affect Myers, I'm fine with it. Just seems like you should know the Exposed timers tho.

You basically get to see how long you, and everyone else is exposed for. Sorry to say, but it will affect Myers because it will show everyone how long they are exposed for. Through, he could get some buffs to compensate?

Lets buff myers because every exposed shows a timer?
that's an odd reason to buff a killer, lol.

What did you have in mind for buffs? Also, I feel like part of the skill with exposed is knowing how long it lasts for. I could see it with NOED or MYC but I don't see why it needs to happen.

You already see an exposed timer at the right side of your screen. It counts down, the same as any other status effect. So I don't see any harm and having it at the bottom like with Ghostfaces. Though he'd feel a little less unique due to it

We're buffing Myers because HIS exposed status effect is shown to all survivors. If HIS exposed status effect wasn't shown to everyone, he wouldn't need a buff in my opinion.
Btw, I'm not asking for HUGE buffs, just something to even out what's lost when the exposed status effect timer is shown to all survivors. That's what the developers have been wanting to do anyways, namely, bring solos together with SWF, then buff killers to compensate.
There's many ways, such as bring back multi-stack, faster stalking, or making his base exposed duration longer. It's really whatever you think will even out what power Myers lost with this QoL change to solo survivors.

Having it on your health status makes it visible to all survivors, which means more information for everyone to use. For example, if you got exposed by MYC, everyone would see that on your health status. Survivors would now expect to be exposed, then play around it.

I like your idea. It's something small and basically a qol change. Wouldn't really harm killers in any way, if anything it would make people more immersed, in other words they wouldn't be on gens or rushing saves.
Sounds good mate.
As a side note, Make Your Choice can be determined if the person unhooking you screams and blood drips from their hands (same as iron maiden when you scream hopping out of locker). I think Sloppy Butcher also has the bloody effect as well. Just small things to help solo players.

I agree, perks yes, Myers no. People don’t need an active timer on his power, because his power effects everyone, it’s part of what makes it strong, because people panic and don’t know how long you have left they may even wait until it’s gone completely, a timer means they’d use your TR to know where you are, then check the time, make an estimate of if it’s possible for you to catch them etc and be more likely to resume progress if they feel it’s safer, that would totally decimate any strategy or surprise for infinite, extended or normal duration.
I’ve seen it’s pretty hard for most to come up with decent buffs for him anyway because he’s kinda balanced now, I just don’t see this particular change working out well or the effect on solos etc being worth the potential nerf to Myers. I.e. the only people who really need to know about MYC are people who unhook, they realise and if the killer instantly downs them after the unhook everyone figures it out anyway if not for the scream etc if they’re in the area. Same with Rancor, the only person who really needs to know is the obsession and they tend to play accordingly.

Well I don't think adding a timer should be a thing I feel like adding me skull symbol can definitely be a benefit above the survivor icon.

This I can agree with, it lets you know a teammate is exposed and doesn’t eliminate the usefulness of the power or perk, nice.

I disagree because this would just be a nerf for all expose perks.
Survivors shouldn't get the notification for how long it lasts. They should feel FEAR when exposed.
They already get the notification for MYC, so survivors know that they have the perk and should hide. It's not as effective in higher ranks because of SWF, since they will let you know anyway.
I think MYC needs no change as of now, since it's too situational for use.
Again, the person who has exposed gets more than enough notification that they have the effect that I don't think it's necessary. Besides, Rancor is really weak, and doesn't deserve that kind of nerf (I mean, it doesn't even work properly when you close the hatch, it doesn't need to be worse).

Why nerf killers? The 4k stats are already lower than 50%.

For Myers' exposed status, it doesn't have to be timer. Just keep a full red circle, like you would probably do with NOED, Rancor and Devour Hope, because these don't have timers either.

I'd also advocate to rename "Exposed" to "Vulnerable" or something because being "Exposed" indicate that you're visible.

Yeah the notification is them going down in one hit

Just to further clarify since some of y'all are getting the personal exposed notification mixed up with the public exposed notification.
The personal exposed notification is what you see at the right side of your screen.
The public exposed notification is what EVERYONE sees on your health state, this is exactly what happens Ghostface exposes you. This offers more information to the survivors because it tells them who's exposed, and for how long.

Killers are not designed around getting 4k. They are designed around two escape two survive. Of course there are times where survivors are sloppy and all die, the killer is extremely good and practiced so they play effectively, or survivors are SWF/Extremely good and all survive.
But the base of the game is 50% of survivors dead, not a flat out stomping (which a lot of Survivors and killers tend to base their balancing ideas off for some reason).
Edit: Added that Killers being extremely good can lead to more than 2k

The days of surprise 1-hits are definitely over, huh?
'Twas good while it lasted...
...And no, this doesn't mean i'm against it, just that i had fun.
