Nurse Main: Thoughts About Nurse Information
Prologue
So, I'll start off by saying some background information:
- It took me 50 hours to learn Nurse, and as of today, I still play her with around roughly 250 hours. I main Nurse on console, and I'm known by many players as a crazy, albeit nice, Nurse main.
When I heard about Nurse getting an add-on update, I was happy and worried because I'm not sure if her add-ons are going to be Fun™ nor creative. So, here I am giving my opinion on her, and offering the developers suggestions on where they should go with her add-ons!
Add-ons
Her add-ons should focus the player to use skillful blinks, such as only using your first blink and not using the safety of your second blink.
Example
Fragile Wheeze
Upon landing a lethal blink attack with your first blink, survivors suffer from the Exhausted Status Effect for 90 seconds.
So, if you were skillful enough to get hits without using your second blink, you'll get rewarded by this add-on. Please for the love of the Entity, don't do hemorrhage or blindness as they are both the most useless effects in the game (unless it's a uncommon rarity or lower).
Add-ons (Cont.)
Some add-ons should be flat out buffs, but not OP if combined with other add-ons that give flat buffs. They shouldn't have negatives like the current add-ons since it can cause new Nurse players to struggle learning her. The ONLY CIRCUMSTANCE that you can add a negative is if the add-ons' effect is extremely powerful. Look at example number 3, which is at the bottom.
Example (Cont.)
Metal Spoon
Slightly increases blink movement speed.
Catacombs Boy's Treasure
Moderately increases blink movement speed.
Ataxic Respiration
Your fagutie duration is extremely decreased.
When attempting to blink, you cannot blink more than once.
Epilogue
I do agree her omegablink and extra blinks add-ons are completely busted - They need to get reworked. However, other than that, Nurse is mainly fine since the add-ons are the only thing that give Nurses a bad name.
Hopefully, y'all will agree with me, and if not, please explain your POV to me so I can work with you.

Nurse has base 2 blinks. The way you phrased it made it seem like you were adding 2 more to that as well as the reward for a well timed first blink

I agree with this post a lot. Console nurse is so different from pc nurse IMO and am worried they will be treated the same with the changes. But if the rumors are true and its not a nerf and just changes to the add ons are happening then am excited for new material. I agree the more blinks are broken along with omega range. But wouldn't be fixed if they just made one add on for an extra blink and make it rare or ultra rare and just made range add ons not stack?
All I really want is the sensitivity to be changed for controller players

You voice many of my same concerns as a console nurse main..you even mentioned the blindness and hemorrhage..I agree as long as her addons are cool and she at least keeps blink speeds, she should be ok..I just sont want to see nurse gutted on the eve of survivors receiving buffs

As long as they don't mess with her base, I don't care what they do to the addons.
Well, removing the multi blink addons would be preferable. Bare minimum make the +1 blink addon ultra rare.

I wouldn't count on them not changing her base kit at all, otherwise they'll be forced to make all addons quite weak, even ultra rares, as it seems like any strong addon makes her op. Which is only logical if she is already really strong without addons. Then there's not much room to make addons good without making her op.
With both having amazing map pressure and being able to ignore the defenses survivors have, I wouldn't mind a small nerf to her base power. Don't think that will make her unviable or even not make her the best killer in the game. I could imagine a small decrease in blink range or speed.

Also, to remove Omega-Blink-Nurse, the devs could make the add-ons non-stackable without having to nerf the add-ons themselves.

Even the smallest detriment to nurses base kit will kill her..the devs already expect killers to never make mistakes apparently..they tried making pallets affect her blinks and that alone destroyed her..they cannot touch her base kit..especially when survivors are about to get massively buffed...its not right

I mean you may be right, I don't know. But I personally don't believe that small adjustments to her base kit would kill her. They'd probably just need some getting used to.

Actually, on average, pallets stop my blinks once every 3 games.
However, it's not as bad as @immortalls96 is making it out to be in my opinion because you can correct yourself with your second blink. :)

Pallets only stop your blink, if your landing area is within the pallet's hitbox. So she can fully avoid it, if she is accurate with her blinks.

I like these ideas....
However I think the devs will go a....slightly different route

Nurse already is very hard to control..has a stun every time she moves , and maps can sometimes dead zone herxwasting a lot of time..just because shes getting addon reworks does not mean it's time to gut her when survivors are planned to be buffed massively, I know I for one would raise hell if they did it because that's bs

Please no, I am tired about those status effect, I mean hemorrhage is pretty useless anwyay. And having a status effect per 60 secs being an example doesn't exactly helps. Sloppy Butcher does the same with no timer.

What exactly are the planned buffs for survivors? Or haven't their been any details yet?

No details but it's an attempt to buff solos to swf status which will also unavoidably empower even swf even if only a little , also what I mentioned earlier was they once made nurse stunnable during blink which made her get stunned and then fatigue..it killed her with just that change..I'd rather not see her die off when this game owes her its survival

Ok. Do you know when the devs mentioned this that they want to buff solo survivors? I'm asking cause it seems like it's being brought up quite often the last days but I haven't heard of anything that says they want to buff solo survivors.

They mention it in a lot of posts and I believe even in a dev stream or two..in fact I asked a dev on twitch just yesterday about this and he says a few ideas are currently being discussed
