Why do killers round corners slower?
Playing in high ranks can be rough, but especially when survivors can "exploit" a part of the game that really isn't a part of the game. I say exploit because it isn't intended, but isn't bannable. Just really, really, annoying. Especially if you're Hag, Spirit, or Huntress. Survivors, if they know they're going to take a hit, will run around a small object like a rock because it takes longer for the killer to round it. Essentially just taking up more of the killers time going around in circles.
It's super anti-fun, is it just because killers hitboxes are bigger? I don't know why it's gotten so popular, it use to be that only a few survivors knew about it, but it's practically everyone now.

It's even more fun when you're chasing a survivor around a loop and theres a tree there thats a small enough gap for the survivors to fit through but the killer gets fat-shamed.

Better get used to it....that is literally what the game is designed around at this point.

if they do that, turn around. you will hit them, since they will run straigth into you - on small objects.
its honestly not too hard... in high ranks it should be well known its a bad idea to follow survivor's paths 1:1.

It's not that small of objects, it's like a small-medium sized rock. If someone is injured I'm going to try to down them, the rounding of rocks is just a way to lengthen the chase

I've no idea. If they just fixed this and made killers accelerate as quickly as survivors (proportionately to their max speed), it'd make looping less of an issue for the killers who're absolutely destroyed because of this quasi-exploit.

mindgame it.
if you turn around, they have to act accordingly by turning around aswell.
fake your turn and moonwalk to them and they might screw up and run right into you.
besides that, they just stall a few seconds like that, its not really that big of a problem.
