Give Crotus Prenn asylum the Badham preschool treatment
alright you snaccs, let's have a little talk about everyone's favorite map: Crotus Prenn Asylum. **sarcasm**
Let's start from outside the asylum:
What you see here, is a totem out in the open, and instead of hiding it right next to that rock, it decided to take a sun bath in the night. these totems spawns are the reason why some people dislike ruin. i understand the high-risk high-reward of hex perks but this is just free 1500 bloodpoints for the survivors with little to no effort.
Moving on, let's start inside the asylum from the entrance:
Entering the asylum, we are greeted with one of the most safest pallets in the game.
Continuing on:
this 1 building has one of the strongest windows in the game.
but that's not all, if this window isn't good enough for you here is a second strong window:
you can circle these windows for a good 3 times if the killer is an M1 mid tier killer,
oh wait, did i mention that this map includes a killer shack on top of all that i mentioned?
this map needs at the very least better totem spawns, the infinites are counterable by bamboozle,
This map is in my opinion, the second most busted map, the first being of course Haddonfield, i wanted to make a post about haddonfield but this discussion will be 10x longer so i settled with this map since it's easier to fix, haddonfield is so bad it would be better off deleted but the asylum has potential

Memes have been made on this. What dev thinks it is a good idea to put a totem in the middle of nowhere with a generator?!

Second window isn't as safe as it appears. You can run up the stairs and dunk on survivors out of the second floor window. But other than that this map is ridiculously survivor-sided and so poorly thought out. My advice to any killer: take out one pallet at a time in the main building and leave it. Don't throw the game trying to break every pallet in there.

I agree with this too, why is the killer's OWN shack his worst place to be, they should be at an advantage in home turf, like in F13 whenever you entered Jason's shack he got a notification and if he caught you in there you were dead 90% of the time.

While it does have strong loops, there is no place to hide if you are moving between areas. the corners have T&L walls and all that good stuff, but there are completely open chunks of the map (as you can see by the totem) that leave you completely vulnerable.
I don't care if the windows get weaker, its not my jam, i just want to be able to stealthily traverse a map knowing there's something for me to hide with.

Personally, I was hoping that when they reworked the Badham maps and added 5 different variations, they'd at least add a variation which had the clowns caravan setup in it since his lore has him setting up camp in everyone else's realms. Would've been creepy too, having his caravan setup near a pre-school. Sigh, another missed opportunity.

Make variations of every map would be awesome for lore, they could show Hilly billy's prison and other stuff. And we still need customizable basements.

you would expect at this point for killers to learn and build their shack like an open tent with NO pallets but they don't seem to learn hahah
hahah well you are entering the killer's house uninvited and you can even steal his/her stuff. Every lawyer would agree they have the rights to protect their property hahah

I think the map is fine the way it is. In fact I believe there should be more infinite loop spots also I think the devs should make the totems easier to find and hooks should be spread out farther so I can wiggle out faster before I hide in a locker till everyone dies.
