Ping/chat wheel system redux

So with the goal of bringing swf in line with solo I've been working on a few ideas.

First

Ping: using the ping button while looking at a Gen, totem, pallet, or trap, snare, or locker in 12 meters you'll reveal the aura of that inject for 3 seconds in a 36 meter area to all other survivors

Perk change for this

Vigil: the range in which you can highlight objects is increased by 3/6/9 meters and you can also ping fellow survivors allowing their aura to stay visible for 30 seconds

Object of obsession: you can now ping the killer; alerting and revealing your aura to the killer for 12 seconds; if you're not the obsession you expose your self for 10 seconds. This can only be done every 120 seconds

Open Hand: states it works with sense pinged auras

Deja'vu: Anything you ping besides the killer, will get automatically ping another 1/2/3 times every 30 seconds after the first ping.

Street Wise: Anything you Ping will stay highlighted 1/2/3 seconds longer and keep the standard effect

Detective's Hunch: You gain five tokens, you and use one token by hitting the killer with the ping key to cause all other survivor's to see an alert of his current location

Bonus side effect: Blind status will be treated as more powerful thus buffing it

Second

Communication Wheel

By holding down the communication button or pressing the corresponding hotkey the survivor will say 1 of 10 voice lines beatable clearly at 6 meters, faintly at 12 meters and unhearable past that while heath, injured, and not in chase. While hooked, dying, or in chase voice lines can be heard from 24 meters clearly and 36 meters faintly.

Voice lines are

Follow me

Help me

Split up

Take this

Can I have that?

Let me help

Help me with this

It is coming

I think it left

It is here

These lines should be more than enough to share needed info and more might be added to the list in the future but I suggest no more than 14

So thoughts and ideas on how to improve this idea?

It's basically like the thing that Apex Legends has, and that system is good

However to achieve proper balance there is no way around adding voicechat to the game

@Madjura of course it won't be proper. But it is about narrowing the massive gap.

    Bump.

    Wouldn't mind this.

I was thinking that maybe the base time of the aura reveal could increase to maybe 4 or 5 seconds.

I like it! Maybe needing a few adjustments and a lot of testing. Maybe have speech bubbles appear above a survivors head instead of voice lines may help, along with allowing dlc charecters to "speak" per say as I doubt they can record a bundle of new voice lines expecially for dlc charecters

I do hope that the Devs see this then. I know it still has a lot to iron out. But it is a good start. As for Speech bubbles. It would be very hard to fit the theme of DBD with speech bubbles. They might just have to call in new VAs the only one that should cost a bust in the Bank is Ash's. Cause that IS Bruce Campbell

@DudeDelicious Sure, Sure. But as stated before. That is very vague and very unreliable. The map does next to NOTHING to help solo players keep up with SWF. This way the map is still useful as a much stronger version of the Ping/Aura sharing system in the sense that the time it can share with add ons isn't limited to the base system but as long as you hold down the button.

Hopefully you see that the map is just outdated and useful compared to making it a core gameplay system for the purpose of improving over all balance.
