Change request - Kill switch for mori animations
Hello dear Devs,
because of the massive toxicity in the game, I thought about it and think I could name a cause:
In the game, false, even disadvantageous or undesirable feelings are generated.
An example:
The Mori animations. I believe that you wanted them to produce horror feelings, but I also believe from my own experience that they (still) produce others: Humiliation, humiliation, disgust for the perversion in which the opponent finds pleasure.
My suggestion:
Create an setting as a checkbox that makes it possible to defuse the Mori animations for the survivors (no visualization, no sound). This prevents bad feelings.
Thank you for reading.

At first I thought you meant that Mori's shouldn't have a bar you need to fill completely in order to use it which would have been something I'd totally agree with.
Mori-spamming is toxic as ######### and should just go and ######### itself into oblivion.

I'd agree with you but like Insta-heals where it causes the killers to lose a ton of pressure. Mori's also cause the survivors to lose a ton of pressure because of how much pressure you gain from 1 dead and so early into a match bc of a mori.

@KillermainBTWm8 Ehhhhh... I see your point there...
But I like being toxic to survivors who were toxic to me.
Or at the very least giving a warning to toxic survivors by pressing the mori button once and hooking them.

True :P you can always nod still tho :3

Being toxic to toxic people is what created the downward spiral that turned the DbD community into such a cesspool to begin with.

@KillermainBTWm8 The most nodding does is show you acknowledge that you probably won't let them live.
A quick mori tap means if they screw up again, that's it for them, at least when I do it.

@se05239 I never am toxic to folk who aren't toxic to me. What created the cesspool was toxic people being toxic to people just trying to have fun, and then they are converted into toxic people who then spread further toxicity.
Me being toxic to a toxic person doesn't breed more toxicity. Me being toxic to a new player or person just trying to have fun would.
That is the most time I've ever said toxic that much.

Sounds pretty toxic to me.
