Trapper...

Spawns in: *loses totem*

Places one trap: *1 gen done*

Tries to find survivors: *3 gens done*

Survivor gets trapped: *is across the map*

Hits a survivor: *adrenaline activates*

Sigh.

Can trapper please get all his traps from the beginning of the game? It's not fair that we have to waste our time by going around the map where there's no pressure to apply just to simply carry one trap without addons. Just. Stupid. It also tells people instantly who the killer is, I like having the element of surprise on my side, but with trapper it just doesn't work. Please make it so trapper can carry all of his traps instantly from the beginning of the game, and maybe speed up putting down traps. Oh and maybe give him some more traps? If trapper could get all his traps he would be such a better killer.

    My main problem is that anything trapper does, hag does way better. You do basically give up 1-2 gens at the start of each match to set up the traps. Then you might give up another gen if they don't work and you get looped around for another gen after that to get your first down. From there, you basically have to camp if you want any chance to win.

    His traps should spawn in the run path of loops and be automatically active from the beginning of the game, and he’ll require far less setup to be a decent killer.

    I also think Trapper should not get caught in his own traps unless he is carrying a Survivor.

    here is my (rather simple, but effective) buff idea:

    • Trapper starts with all his traps in hand and can carry them all at the same time
    • Trapper has a total of 10 traps (number can increase with add ons)
    • Trapper has a build in logwood dye in his basekit
    • TRAPPER GETS HIS OLD TRAP SET ANIMATION BACK (!!!) (the new one sucks.)
    • escaping the trap is a set action instead of RNG. (the time can be increased with add ons)

    now fix his emblem gain and trap hitboxes and oh look! a actually good killer!

    EDIT: almost forgot... remove the trap deadzones. those are ridiculous. especially with the multidirectional unhook mechanic those are very unnecessary. and ffs why can i only place my traps ~5m away from each other?

    "starts with all traps from the beginning" would make him a god tier killer. He simply needs +1 Trap to start with and +1 slot in his bag and he is absolutly fine.

    Yea right, and dont forget, all survivor start the trial caught in a bear trap. Please....
