Killers rage quitting and causing loss of ultra rare and rare addons/offerings
I just had another match where the killer got outplayed not by looping as it was the speedy chainsaw guy but by not running in a straight line for a charge. I lost my Engineers toolbox, the Newly Installed Gear and my 100% for all players in all categories offering. The newly installed gear seemed to bug out since 2x the checkbox didn't come until too late to do it. I made the 1st somehow but the 2nd it was already at end when it came up.
That's 2 times now I've lost ultra rare and rare offerings and addons because the killer either rage quits during loading or right after match starts. When this happens those things should be refunded to the player same for killers so that they're not punished by griefers and trolls. It's hard enough getting those to show up in your bloodweb but having to spend a ton of shards to get them only to see some jack arse screw you over is annoying.

Yeah, it sucks. It usually happens to me during the load screen. Either the killer quits and I lose my Rare/Ultra Rare, or Survivors on my team quit leaving me severely handicapped with my Rare/Ultra Rare offering/addon.

Yeah had that happen both ways before and the quiter's on both side during f2p right now is stupid. Had 3 quitters survivor side earlier and just now another survivor quitter game when I'd gotten 2 out of 3 gens going and had 2 more almost done when they bailed. I then spent the next 5-10 minutes trying to survive/get the remaining 2 up then 3rd survivor got nailed.
It didn't help the Trapper sat there and simply camped 1 person and repeatedly let them get rescued only to immediately down and hook them again. I couldn't find the damn hatch after that which is something that hopefully the devs will change and make it more apparent to both the killer and the remaining survivor.
That would introduce quite a few interesting decisions for both sides but to make it fair for the killer it could have a unlock timer say 5-10 seconds. depending on how many gens are left.

I just recently got back into survivor, from rank 20-16 i struggled to pip sometimes because the killer would just chase me until he realized he chose the wrong survivor to chase then rage quit. Very annoying and there needs to be a penalty for it like say 1 hour ban first time and then 3 hour ban second time and then 7 and finally 24 hour ban is happens 4 times. You watch how many people will stop doing it! Extremely effective strategy.

! hour ban might be harsh,e specially if it's a isp/weather issue etc. But if it's a pattern than 1 hour is reasonable if done x times in x amount of gameplay. League handles it really well.

Quotes killer got outplayed by pallet looping then complains that the killer left as if pallet looping was anything skill related., sorry but there's no reason for a killer to stay so you can bully them with teleportation.
Also if you lost your brand new part to a bug, that's not the killers d/cing fault.
I do agree though with being refunded some stuff when it happens at least.-2 -
Of course people have a real life and have to leave sometimes in mid game, but this is probematic. So i've got an idea. Every time you disconnect, you get a 30 minute ban. No more, no less. It's like a cooldown which prevents you from creating a lobby or joining one. What do you guys think?

That's the sound of survivors posting all over the forums that they are stuck in lobbies cuz every killer is stuck in you folks 30 minute - 1 hour ban wait times.

I didn't loop at all, ran in mostly a straight line with a few zags along the way and hopped voer only 2 pallets and never went back. I then proceeded to go through the same spot the killer had been in front of me earlier and went a way the killer wouldn't expect.

Hmmm...your very first sentence says the killer got outplayed by looping, fine, But there is nothing that says you specifically ever looped so forgive me if I would obviously not consider you may be mentioning yourself as the looper.
Before you call me wrong, you may want to actually give proper detail.

There's plenty of killers playing and there usually is although sometimes there's a slight wait for a killer lobby. Most have either been good killers that know how to play, some are just campers and some are quitters. It is after all f2p weekend so that's to be expected.
The ones getting banned are the ones rage quitting either as the game loads or because 1 person has the really nice perk and gets teh speed boot for a short time. I've had several games where up to 3 other survivors all quit because they either got downed quickly or got suckered into a camping killer situation.

My very 1st sentence did in fact say that I wasn't looping at all which is why I bolded it and sorry for the insult. I don't like looping since I feel it's a game breaking mechanic and try and avoid it if at all possible by running in different directions and ways.
The good killers anticipate where you're going to go if you hop a window or drop a pallet and cut the corner.

You say that now, shall we remind you of the patch 1.4 era where camping was being attempted a punishment and infinites were a thing? survivors posted there were tons of killers out there, however the game almost died due to a sever lack of killers that lead to a forums full of lobby issues or lobby sim threads. did'nt it?
Keep on severely punishing killers for not wanting to be bullied and we will see how many there are and free weekends will not save you as they gasp only last for the weekend.

Do survivors really lose their items when a killer dc's? I thought it counts as surviving. At least it seriously should.

Time outs won't do anything tbh, people will just hop on their Smurf account and play regardless, there needs to be a better system put in place like maybe,What if you're allowed 2 DC's a day and on the 3rd you get a 24 Hr ban.
