Gen rush
To killers complaining about gen rush - how about you stop tunneling, camping and tryharding when you already hooked 3 people and there are 5 gens left with ruin up.

It's more like...I want to be able to run fun perks and not have 3 gens pop by my second hook against good survivors.

Agreed. Gen rushing is the most effective way for survivors to complete their objective, just as tunneling is sometimes the fastest way for a killer to complete their objective. Both suck but the game doesn't really offer an alternative if you see gens/kills as your idea of "winning".

It's not even gen rushing. It's the objective, it's the game. It's just a sad reason for people to cry over losing the game. Same with things like tunneling, one streamer I know made a good point, say a healthy survivor unhooks someone near you. You go back and see both, is it not smarter to go after the already closer to dead person? Granted, it's not very nice to do but it's how people play.
But it goes like this:
-People who play Survivor refuse to see how their side can be toxic and op.
-People who play Killer refuse to see how their side can be toxic and op.
Thus people decide to complain about the other side instead of realizing, they're just as bad. The only thing I don't agree with at all, period, is camping.

The Game needs to be altered to be fun on both sides.
This can mean gen times and certain things killers do can be altered/ changed significantly

Survivors don't want to see their character die... So gen rush, because that is the best way to live.
Seeing your character die on a meat hook and their soul taken by satan vs seeing opposing players run away and eacape--seem clear who gets more distress if they fail.

Unless the survivors are perked for it and brought toolboxes Genrushing straight up does not exist.
No specific perks or toolboxes and gens still getting done too fast? Just means the killer isn't applying enough pressure.
Genrushing complaints are usually about as valid as most tunelling complaints. In that they are both completely bogus and made by people that need an excuse for their own gameplay mistakes.

Genrush is amazing. That's all I want to do, screw ranks. I run perks to get good loot from chests, then escape asap. Perfect for me. Genrush for life!

That's not gen rushing. Gen rushing is just a term for survivors that ignore totems (or healing), focusing on nothing but gens, and complain about NOED. Also for M1 killers that have 2 gens done before they even see a survivor.

If there is no genrush there is no need for camping an tunneling, if you want to make the killer lose speed if he stays for more than x minutes in front of a hung survivor is fine, but the genrush is the main reason for a killer to want camp or tunneling
