They hang out at a villain pub of course!

i think the devs said that they just sit and wait for their next trial

I think the Legion does hang out together, but the rest just wait around the edges of the bonfire area. Most don't think like people do anymore, so it's hard to know what they are thinking.

The Legion probably hangs out. But that would be caused by the same reason the Clown gets his horse. The Legion Willfully kills for small periods of hang out time. As for the rest the've been confirmed to just wait for the next trial patiently. Or, they walk to another map in their realm. There have been mentions of Killers passing through the fog on their way to another pocket of the realm. So Wraith may walk to the Gas Heaven for his next trial. Exceptions make it so killers like Nurse may decide to stay away from Chapel because Clown camped out there, and because she murdered the Priest. And Huntress probably isn't allowed in the Plagues map because she is very territorial and would fight the Plague.

they confirmed that the killers are kept separate, but are aware of each others' existence in an old dev stream. they have friends, rivals, etc.
since then, we've gotten legion (who i imagine makes an exception to that rule) and the valentines cosmetics that show the wraith and the nurse together physically.
