Survivor perk idea - Clean Getaway
Clean Getaway
* Unhooking and healing is 100% Quieter. When you unhook yourself or another Survivor the Killer isn't notified for 2/4/6 seconds.
Note: Killer perks that are triggered by an Unhook are delayed by this perk. Ex: Make your choice.

Doesn’t seem like a whole lot, but killers who love to go back to hook would definitely be affected quite negatively.
2 -
That's the idea ;)
Also combine with iron will for 100% totally silent healing.
0 -
Seems a tad much for a perk with 0 counter..
2 -
I could see a lot of people running this at high rank. Especially when you expect killers like Billy, Nurse and Spirit.
1 -
The Counter is seeing. Just because you don't get a crossmap notification immediately doesn't mean you won't notice if they unhook/heal in your face.
0 -
Which implies camping....
2 -
I think it's fine as long as the survivor icon still changes when the unhooking happens
1 -
The question is...will this be able to be used with Self-Care? I'm sure stealthy Claudettes behind trees will want to know with this + Iron Will.
0 -
No it implies that the Unhooker made a terrible mistake.
0 -
That would defeat the point.
0 -
Yes. Of course it can.
0 -
Though as your describing it camping is the only counter to this perk..so...idk
0 -
@immortalls96 A lot of perks are used to counter bad practices. This perk idea sounds great and honestly camping has it's own counter. Plus it's not like they can know if you have the perk or not. If you camp you're punishing yourself.
0 -
My point is having a perk that's only countered by camping is potentially unhealthy
0 -
I mean camping is one potential counter, but you know another potential counter? Not going back to the hook in the first place.
1 -
Anti-hag perk? D: Makes it impossible to use triggered trap + make your choice.
1 -
Ah yes..let me just ignore the unhooker if I need to get pressure but Dont know where anyone else is..which version of the survivor handbook did this rule get implemented in hm?
0 -
Well seeing as we’re getting 2 survivors next chapter this could very well be a perk that one of them have; plus it’d tie into Stranger Things quite well.
1 -
Doubt it but I wouldn't be surprised of we got something to help stealth after an Unhook. Maybe no scratchmarks?
0 -
Not against it (I'm a killer main) as long as it doesn't affect the icons at the bottom. Rewarding killers that are paying attention to their hud.
0 -
It ABSOLUTELY effects the icons at the bottom.
It HAS to otherwise there would be no point!
Why even bother having the effect if you're going to just give them the information anyway.
That wouldn't be helpful, just slightly annoying.
0 -
I'm against it then. Why would I be punished bc I managed to hook someone ?
You literally have DH, DS, MM and D to skip damage, get off me or the hook...yet you want more ?
1 -
You aren't. Literally nothing bad happens to you.
If you want to call it a punishment then I guess it would be for allowing the Unhook. But even then it's not THAT big of an impact most of the time.
And the fact that those perks you listed exist is a big part of why perks like these that focus on stealth rather than tanking need to be good. Otherwise high level Survivors would just ignore it and use meta perks like DS instead.
Call it power creep but if a perk is outclassed by other effects then it may as well not exist. Without hiding the information completely the perk is completely useless.
Healing still has the injured noise and Unhooking being silent doesn't matter if they are told you did it anyways. Why would I take this perk if it's effect didn't actually help?
0 -
Mitigation of failure != Rewarded for failure
Mitigation of success != Punished for success
0 -
So you would reward camping ?
Bc that seem to be the counter. I camp around with insidious.
0 -
If someone is going for the Unhook then camping is the correct move and thus should be rewarded.
That interaction is not effected by this perk in any way.
0 -
Other than that it makes MYC harder to use in that situation like someone mentioned with the Hag thing
0 -
@immortalls96 It's not really COUNTERED by camping. It's just a bad call if you ARE camping. Think of it like Borrowed Time, you don't know they have it, so you can just play however you would normally. If you get hit with it then oh well. It just makes it harder for those that would want to camp without being right in your face(because a lot of killers that are up in green ranks tend to do this. They'll stay right out of MYC range, wait for the unhook, then rush over, down the person unhooked, then chase the one who unhooked). It's more of a counter to an advanced form of camping.
@NuclearBurrito I honestly doubt they'll give survivors anything for stealth. It seems like they'd prefer killers be more stealthy than survivors as their more recent rounds of nerfs to survivors have been to their stealth. It seems like they want to force looping.
0 -
I disagree with that.
Most of the aura reading and sensing perks are amazing. Problem is always one of your teammates bringing the killer to you by running bonds.
0 -
@TheUnendingNightmare They've brightened survivors clothing recently, and soon they're going to be making stealth killers unable to be seen by any aura reading. The only aura reading perks(to see killers anyways) for survivors that are good are Alert and OoO, and one has a drawback. Once stealth killers get immunity to aura reading, then no one's gonna run aura reading anymore in case they get a perk that's quite literally worthless.
0 -
Jukers just don't want to even try to be stealthy and will let you know if they think you are being too stealthy.
"Noob hidding on corner"
Was a message I received after solo completing 4 gens. By a juker who kept leading the killer to survivors.
Like being good at juking is a nice skill but you shouldn't get angry bc ppl are good at sneaking around. I have to get better at jukes and loops whilst you should ger better at sneaking around.
0 -
I haven't heard anything about such a nerf. Can you link the info ?
Although, I use premonition so idc much.
Also, my point was that most ppl don't know how to sneak and start juking. Not that the game doesn't allow or reward being stealthy.
To all my immersed players, nothing better than to see the surprise in a killer's movement paterns when they see you for the first time of the game at the exit gate. XD

There was a leak of 2 Statuses. 1 was a state in which the Killer has no TR, or Red stain and can't be seen by aura reading. The other was a Survivor debuff that makes them unable to hear the TR. We have 0 confirmation on what these are specifically for, however the 1st one is probably going on stealth Killers in their stealth mode.

@TheUnendingNightmare Yeah I had a game last night against a Clown who killed 2 people and it was just me and a Jake left and I think we were both being stealthy because neither of us were hooked(the Jake was once and I unhooked him). I was doing a gen inside the killer shack and the moment I heard a heartbeat I would walk around the shack, crouching by trees over to an area with a big rock and a pallet far enough away from the shack where he wouldn't find me. I could see him walking all around looking for me, it was quite funny because I did this probably 6 or 7 times(he had Pop and popped my gen), one time he finally walked over to where I was but I managed to walk all around the rock so he couldn't find me and he walked away again(if he had turned one meter he would have seen me), until he found me by and my gen was ALMOST done(he walked away and shortly walked back, lol, I had been juking his attempts to trick me until that one point because he left just long enough for me to think he was going to the other gens that were being repaired cuz the Jake was going between two as I could see him with Alert kicking them), and the last gen popped as I was running him around. Sadly when he finally caught me he had enough time to walk up and plop me pretty much right in front of the exit gate and camped me so the Jake had no chance to save me because he didn't have BT. The Jake also left before I could get into struggle which made me lose my struggle points dammit >_>;

Well since it's only whispers I won't take it seriously before awhile tbh

@TheUnendingNightmare There was actually a screenshot. I believe someone had it appear on their tutorial on PS4 or something under the status effects tab. One was called Oblivious, and the other was....I forget, Undetectable maybe?
0 -
I've seen a lot of fake screenshot in my gaming experience lol. I'm not saying it isn't true tho just that I'll believe it once this is live.
0 -
@TheUnendingNightmare I just checked my PS4 and it has them on mine as well. Go into tutorials>The Game>Status Effects List. It has Undetectable and Oblivious with some code for an image but the image doesn't show in front of the name of the status effect. Then it has a description:
Undetectable: The killer enters a stealth-like mode which suppresses their red stain and terror radius, and blocks all survivor aura-reading abilities.
Oblivious: The Survivor is oblivious to the imminent danger of a nearby killer. They do not hear The Killer's terror radius and they are not considered as being within the terror radius for power or perk effects.
Cursed(this one has an image): The Survivor suffers a secret penalty related to a Hex Totem, cleansing the Hex Totem releases the curse.
0 -
OH THOSE!
Undetectable is used only for Myers during his strong stalk mode. It IS scary bc even premonition and spine chill don't trigger.
Oblivious is complet trash imo. It is the stalk the Pig and Ghost face use. Premonition and spine chill completly destroy that weak stalk mode and aura reading perks still work.
0 -
Imo what hurts those kind of perks is the fact there's no mic chat, so I can't warn anyone un random matches.
Although, SWF is amazing. My friends call me "the medium" lol
0 -
@TheUnendingNightmare I'm pretty sure those weren't listed as status effects before and I heard the devs were talking about doing something for stealth killers. Also Oblivious isn't the Pig and GhostFace's power. It's a survivor status effect as it says the SURVIVOR doesn't know that they're in the terror radius, not that the killer hides their terror radius. Also, the Cursed status effect is definitely new. There's no hex perk with a secret penalty to survivors that they suffer while a totem is lit. They're all shown to the survivor. Also might mention Oblivious says nothing about hiding the red stain, and GF and Pig both hide their red stain.
1 -
It isn't.
Those are both stalking variant.
Basically one make the killer undectable and the other make the survivor deaf to their audio queue.
It's literally in the name. Seeing it now it explains why aura reading perks still work on the Pig and Ghostface.
0 -
I'm done fighting with which ever mod is flagging my comments for no reason.
They are stalk variants "."
0 -
These statuses aren't in the game yet. No one has either effect.
T1 Myers DOES have a terror radius remember, the aura reading immunity isn't tied to a status yet. But it almost certainly will be via those statuses.
0 -
Not talking about his tiers, those are two different things.
Wheter you are in tier 1, 2 or 3 you can press L2(PS4) to got into "stalk mode" which slows you down, make you silent, negate his terror radius and make ANY perk useless.
0 -
Same as when you crouch for the Pig, except she goes into "oblivious" stalk. Which mean she doesn't make sounds and her terror radius drop to 0 BUT all the perks still work bc WE(survivors) are oblivious to her sound queues. Which is why perks still trigger.
0 -
Although, it is true that stalking in tier 3 doesn't hide your terror radius and everything, it is bc of Myers power not his stalk ability.
Like I said those are just the two types of stalking in the game.
"Undetectable"
"Oblivious"
And honestly there should just be the first one bc the second suck.
0 -
EVIL WITHIN! HIS POWER IS CALLED EVIL WITHIN!
Sorry I was looking for the name rn xD
0 -
So evil within and stalk are two different things.
I'm ready to bet money I'm right. Undetectable and Oblivious are the two types of stalking.
0 -
I'll take that bet. How much.
