Is Behavior breaking there own self imposed rule?
By including underaged survivors in the Stranger Things Chapter?

They’re both out of high school adults

@Spirez Technically, if these are the Season 1 versions, which they VERY MUCH LOOK LIKE, Steve is 17 and Nancy is 16. If they're from Season 2(They're definitely not from Season 3), Nancy is 17 and Steve is 18. They're wearing Season 1 attire though.

- It's not a self-imposed rule. It's a rule many games have to deal with in order to be marketed legally in some countries.
- There's nothing out yet about the specific lore, but we can probably expect some deviation alongside references to season 3 despite their season 1 attire.

Laurie and Quentin are both 17, so they broke it a long time ago. Nancy (if this chapter is based on Stranger Things Season 1) will be the new youngest Survivor, at 16 (according to the wiki because I don't have Netflix and honestly don't care about it either).

Well from what they have said, the entity goes back on their memories so they could be older with different clothing on. Example would be Dwight from his previous job outfits. It was from an earlier time but he’s still older wearing them now.

Nancy looks like Sarah Connor if we seen her as a teenager. I never watched Stranger Things.

All survivors (including Laurie and Quentin) have been confirmed to be at least 21 years of age.

They are young adults at this point.

Sorry if this seems rude in any way, but where/when was this confirmed?
Laurie's backstory literally states "Laurie is a typical teenager." It's one of the few things her backstory DOES state. It seems odd that they would state this, then say that she is 21.
Same with Quentin. His backstory takes place very shortly after A Nightmare on Elm Street (2010), in which, despite being played by 24-year-old Kyle Gallner, he is supposed to be 17. You don't just age 4 years in the span of a few weeks or months.

@Peanits They're over 18 in the most recent season. No rule is broken.

also taking a demon/monster instead of a human as killer.
0 -
It has never been said the killer has to be a human. Only humanoid.

This was confirmed AGES ago in a stream, I'll try to find it but I'll have a hard time doing so. The next best thing would probably to ask a dev. @Peanits can you confirm whether or not all survivors are at least 21 years of age for us?

Does Behavior have permission to alter cannon for characters in a licensed product like that though?
If yes then okay. If not they are skirting to something dangerously not legal.

yeah also the concept of time is very loose with the Entity and what it touches. For all we know they could've been picked up after the events of the first three seasons and got thrusted back into their S1 nightmare. If the Entity can put cows on a hospital bed and an ancient Babylonian temple in the red forests of WW1 Russia, while they have a Japanese ghost girl killing some country music American sweetheart in them. Then messing with time or survivors ages aren't really too far fetch.

17. No cigarettes, no alcohol. My join the army, be imprisoned as an adult, and fight monsters. LMAO!

and yet we only had human killers so far. that was also the obvious meaning of my post.

Survivors in DBD are over 21 the same way people in porn are step-family.
1 -
Well obviously they are 3000 years old dragons in human body so that's fine

It's not about altering their canon. Their canon still stands. The only difference is that the Entity took them a couple years after the fact. Since the Entity rebuilds trails from memory, they might end up wearing the same clothes as they did a fear years before, for example. This is also why Dwight can wear his first job t-shirt. He's older now, but the Entity can recreate it from his memories.

The obvious meaning of your post was what? Even if we've only had human killers so far, BHVR to my knowledge have never restricted themselves to human killers only.
