Free dlc
Since the stranger things dlc is coming out, it would be cool if they gave older dlc packs for free, since they are gonna make a lot of money off of the newest dlc anyway, plus I believe that would increase number of players. Ubisoft has been doing that really well with Siege.

You got Nurse, Bill, Huntress chapters for free and if I'm not mistaken Doctor and Hag chapters are free on consoles. I think that's pretty good job so far.

Cmon paying 10 dollars for every dlc is too much, especially when you want to not just keep, but also increase the number of players imo

My argument is that I understand how a game need money to get better.
Now what we must be on the watch for, is when companies get greedy.
Asking me 10$ for a new chapter is nothing when compared to EA asking me 20$ to buy new wallpapers.

I mean but look at R6, how that game is doing well, and they have been updating the game for free for years. And its literally the same type of expansion (1 map and 2 or 3 characters). Plus lets say you start playin dbd in 2019, so should that new player pay 40-50 dollars just so he can play with all the characters?

What do you mean free ? It takes as much time grinding shards than money in that game!
Even a 1vs4 win is only worth 300/400 and a New operator is like 25k

You can unlock Killers free too you know if you are willing to grind 9000 shards. I prefer to spend it on clothes.

Just to get 1200 points you have to play 4 matches of 3 rounds each so 3x4 = 12 matches just for 1200 points. Now do i need to show you the math to get 25k ?

All im saying is older free dlcs would make more players interested in the game, which would mean you dont have to wait 10 minutes just so you find a game; they make money off of stranger things, you find people to play with-->everybody wins

They will never just give out licensed characters.

Right. BHVR doesn't just keep the money from people who buy it's licensed DLC... a good chunk of that gets kicked back to the license holder. If they decided "hey, free Myers", the license holder would say, "So, I see a hundred thousand people just got the Myers DLC, where's our cut for all of them?"
The owners of the Halloween license don't think "Hey, BHVR's making money off Stranger Things now, so we don't need to charge for ours!"

There is no way any license holder will give the green light for giving out their characters for free. I also doubt BHVR will give any dlc for free on PC, they'd have to compensate the people who paid for the dlc and you know damn well what those people will ask for.

You can literally pay 5$ to buy one killer or survivor from each pack

a kind of "free rotation" of killer's/survivors would be cool. While they're free you can level them and use their perks. Maybe you wouldn't be able to get their perks as teachables though, any progress you got on them would be saved but unusable until they're free again or until you buy them.

That's a really great idea!
It would also allow ppl to try out the killer/survivor they are interested in before buying anything.
