DECISIVE STRIKE BUFF
I know that this perk used to be very strong but with the last update it is just terrible, the killer puts me on the hook, someone unhooks me and I am getting tunneled (-10 sec of active decisive strike) the killer downs me and chases for other survivors or waits for others survivors to get close and heal me, (-40 sec of active decisive strike) the killer picks me up and here we go... NO DECISIVE STRIKE!!

It is actually still very strong.

The new DS is actually really good, but bad teammates are bad teammates. It's not a free perk like it used to be your not likely going to use it every game anymore. It does not need a buff. It's fine as is and I do think it's in a better spot.

Short answer:
No.
Long answer:
No. DS is currently fine the way it is, as it is supposed to defend the Survivors against tunneling. If you get down after 60 seconds, then there would be no point in using the perk besides just getting a ‘get out of jail free’ card, as the Killer had wasted their time chasing you for longer than an actual minute and you bought your team enough time to accomplish their task. It’s perfectly fine and does not need a buff.

Just because DS has counter play, that doesn't mean it's weak or it needs buffs.
7 -
Getting tunneled means getting killed very fast (getting through stages quick due to rapid hooks-unhooks). DS counters that hard by adding a minimal time you have to live. It not supposed to let you escape, only to not get killed quickly.

Just like with camping that's something you should blame the other survivors for feeding.
If the killer is really willing to tunnel you off hook and just hang around while waiting out DS that's basically the same as getting 60 seconds extra on the hook. If I saw a killer do that and not even really go for any chases, just hanging around the slug waiting to pick them up... I'd just go on a gen. 60 seconds = 75% of a gen.
And besides it's always hilarious when killers actually do this but pick you up just a bit too early when you have like 2 seconds left on your DS. All that waiting for nothing 😄

Ds needs to honestly be changed so it can't work in lockers it's still strong af and lasts way too long if your good at chases

Decisive is one of the best perks in the game.....

It's your fault if you fall for the ds locker bait, besides just eat the ds and they'll regret not saving it for endgame

DS is not fine as it should prevent/counter tunneling. Actually it doesnt do its purpose, cause you know what? killers just restart the tunneling after the stun. DS only works during EGC, buts thats NOT its purpose.

Ds works fine, it provides a window where the team can get you up or stuns the killer if they pick you up to soon. If the killer decides to tunnel after a stun then any failure is on you, every survivor should be capable of winning a chase (win a chase not prolong it)
1 -
Just don't grab them out of a locker 4head
0 -
That's right. You should escort them to the next gen, and apologize for chasing the survivor into the locker.
3 -
They hop into a locker to not get slugged, sorry that your boring counter to DS has a counter to it.
I'll say it again, Don't grab them out of a locker 4head, just let them be and find someone else. Or you know, could stand staring at the locker for a minute...
P.S, you wanna know how to perfectly counter DS? STOP TUNNELLING!!
1 -
You don't need to tunnel to get hit with DS. Take a chill pill.
1 -
It's not about being baited..its about granting temp God mode and removing any of the counterplay new ds has..that's the only real concern
1 -
Why aren't you complaining about survivors that pull you off when it's unsafe? honestly, what's the killer supposed to do, let you go free?
3 -
But at the same time its wasted if the killer leaves you there for the duration of the time. And picks you up and hooks you. Now it's a wasted perk. And that is what happens most time. Not saying everytime but probably 68%

It should pause while down or in a chase.

Thank you for speaking for a lot of us.
1 -
Yeah... That's called counterplay.

You need to keep an eye out on who you're downing, if you down the person who recently got unhooked then slug them.
It's not rocket science, it happens to me all the time

I agree whole heartdly, DS need some other incentive or pause once downed its too easy to counter as you can tell by these replies don't worry you're not crazy.
1 -
If your teammates are too bad to pick you up, run Unbreakable. Or play SWF. Or jump into a locker.
DS is still a super powerful perk.

DS is still a strong perk. Pausing the timer isn’t necessary and borderline broken.

Did I just read a post from someone that doesn't know how to use DS properly?
My friend..... Just jump in a locker.
It forces the killer to take the DS.
DS is still one of the top five best survivor perks in the game. You're just not using it to its full potential, sorry.

My friend there's a new counter to that leave the survivor in the locker or count down the 60 seconds and then rip them out.

Would be nice if they gave it little buff, cuz some killers just don't care, thet eat ds and continue tunneling you, maybe after you d strike killer, your scratch marks and grunts of pain are dissabled for like 10 seconds?
0 -
The whole point is that the killer is wasting time and losing pressure. The other survivors will punish the killer by rushing the gens. If the survivor goes into a locker just leave them and if they don't, just slug them.

thanks for proving my point.

DS is fine and doesn't need a buffs.

Facts!!! So many times I have seen teammates hit there DS and then not even 20 secs they r down again. I thought it was to prevent tunneling or help against it. It just prolongs the tunnel really
