Demogorgon is clearly not human but its definitely a humanoid.

Werewolfs are humanoid, but didn't they say they didn't want to make that one either? :(

They stated in the past that they wanted to avoid specific cliche monsters like Werewolves, Vampires, literal white-sheet ghosts, clowns, etc.
The point they were intending was to avoid anything too cheesy/cliche, and focus on more original concepts. They never said they don't want monster-killers. The main issue was the rendering of different skeletons and being able to produce something functional every several months.
The times they have broken down and done something they claimed they wouldn't was when they felt they came up with a concept that was creepy enough to pull off without losing the creep/spook-factor.
People took it too literal, instead of recognizing they probably are down to do literally ANY killer if they feel they can pull it off, and don't want the pressure to produce any specific kind of killer if it can be pulled off in the manner they envision.

They've shown that they're willing to spin a concept into their own original work, like seen with Clown. So yeah, I'll have my hopes up that we'll get a Werewolf at some point.

other games have made similar statements due to lack of technology, I'm sure BHVR devs understand that eventually they'll need to up their technology for their evolving game, and one day, you'll see a creepy 4-legged creature making their way to you.

Like the people above said, it’s still humanoid form. Plus they would obviously give a lot of wiggle room to have something as hot as ST right now

The reason they don't want to do non-humanoid killers isn't even because of the lore, it's simply because they don't know how to animate it/don't have the technology to do it. A werewolf killer is very much possible if they really want it to happen.

I'm not going to get my hopes up because that's the monster I want most other then a Harpy/bird-lady, haha.
I'd rather not expect it and never get it, and just accept it as not happening and then see a leak or teaser one day and just lose my mind.
