Mindbreaker Perk
So The Demogorgon comes with a perk called Mind Breaker that pauses your Exhaustion timer but what if you're NOT EXHAUSTED? Then the perk does nothing.
This perk should CAUSE Exhaustion AND/OR pause the timer if you are already Exhausted, right now this perk will only hurt Sprint Burst or someone who was already in a chase and used their perk therefore useless. The goal is to prevent them from using it not stop them from using it again, that's just weird. ''Oh I'll castch him this time he's still on cooldown for that Dead Hard he used against me several seconds ago'' that's without the perk, with the perk it will be the exact same sentence.

It causes exhaustion. It just pauses any already in-progress exhaustion instead of overwriting it.

In the video it was not described as that but I do hope this is the case, it sounds like a really good perk in the beginning of the game tbh.

This.
ALSO, let's say the person you were chasing uses lithe or balanced landing and gets away while you, idk chase someone else or something. If that person goes to work on a gen, they can't recover from their exhaustion which means they would have to walk around and find something to do for 40 seconds (look for totems, search chest, whatever else)

If you're not exhausted, you'll still get the three seconds of exhaustion. It can be handy on stealth killers when you're facing people with Sprint Burst. With other exhaustion perks, they'll still need to stop sprinting for at least three seconds before they can use their perk in that chase as well.

Thanks for confirming. Will be very helpful on all stealth killers.
Also, great anti-camping perks on both survivors, all perks from both sides sound super fun. <3

So it either makes Dead Hard more viable or Makes Sprint Burst activate after the killers 1st hit.
Scenario: pig sneaks up gets a hit. I get my burst from the hit. 3s exhaustion wears off SB activates. If I wasn't exhausted prior to being hit while working on the generator is that correct @Peanits ?

Hmm, so you get Exhausted and to get rid of Exhaustion you need to walk for 3 seconds. If you're a stealth Killer this would work as you can get close and get that first hit and in a chase you wouldn't have as much time to stop moving for 3 seconds to get your ability back. Very interesting, yeah this sounds weaker than what I was thinking but it is also fair and still useable against Dead Hard, Lithe, and Balanced.

You do know that exhaustion doesn't recover while running right?

That sounds on the mark from the description but in reality this is no different than a normal chase as you still have 2 bursts of speed, 1 from SB and 1 from getting hit before SB so in a way nothing changes except the order in when it happens.

Yes, assuming you stop for at least three seconds. Technically possible, but you'd also be letting the killer close quite a bit of distance, so either way you're giving up something.
Correct. It'll also pause the recovery of any existing exhaustion. It'll have some interesting uses. I don't know if I'd say it'll flip the game on its head or anything, but if you're going for sneak attacks, you can get some use out of it. Worst case scenario people hop off of generators early and end up wasting time.

If I tap a gen that has less than 50% progression I will also be exhausted right?

Interesting, thanks <3

You could, but that's also time you could spend running. If you're going to just stand there, the killer is going to be right on you as soon as they finish breaking the pallet. You may be able to use Sprint Burst or Dead Hard, but at that point you wouldn't need to had you have run in the first place.
Your best bet would probably be breaking it up into smaller chunks. When you're at a pallet, stop running as you mindgame. A few pallets later your exhaustion will wear off. If you can last that long, at least.

They could but you'd only gain an extra 0.78 meters compared to if you just ran while ignoring the exhaustion perk.

@Peanits That is actually where i was going with this. You could be smart as the survivor and keep yourself exhausted until you need to activate. Similar to how some players 99% exhaustion for SB now.
I don't have a problem since it is a valid strategy but i can see people having issues with this.

If you start the vault action from very far so you are like 2 seconds in a vault, during this time you just stop holding m2 and like this you lose exhaustion.
Right map, high end gameplay, vigil and sprint burst and you still can trigger it multiple times in a chase ^^
