A killers view on how to end camping
While standing within a certian radius of a hooked survivor, not in a chase. All generators progress. Either fully or to a max of like 75%.

Its not rocket appliances, im sure no one would camp if it would pretty much cause for easy escapes. Unless you like camping for that one kill, then thats probably all you're going to get

- i just didn't understand this "All generators progress. Either fully or to a max of like 75%."
- im still all about giving more rewards than punishment but oke.

That is overkill.

@Milo "All generators progress. Either fully or to a max of like 75%." means that, under the same circumstances that penalize the killer for "Hook Proximity," all incomplete generators are repaired at an (unspecified) rate.
The generators are not instantly jumping to 75% or 100% completion; they are being progressed slowly (opposite of the killer's gen-kicking regression).
@Shaped It's not overkill because smart killers in high ranks do not camp, only inexperienced killers in low-mid ranks. However, the survivors in low-mid ranks are also inexperienced. This means they do not know how to punish camping killers by rushing gens.
They crouch behind cover near the hook, completely negating the killer's "Hook Proximity" penalty, and they usually get caught, further rewarding camping behavior.
This problem is more pervasive on console, where "teaching" survivors what to do in those situations cannot be resolved in post-game chat (there is no such feature); I would have to message each survivor individually.
If the devs don't want camping to be rampant on console they would have to show killers and survivors the error of their ways, because players I've messaged and informed had no idea there was a "hook prox" penalty, nor what a wiggling survivor on the hook meant they should be doing.
- While a killer is near the hook and not in a chase, show the aura of all generators to survivors and give a repair action speed buff.
- While a killer is near the hook and not in a chase, show the killer the completion intensity of generators and blind the killer if they look at the hook (Entity) for too long.

I do not think that camping is a big enough problem to justify such a dramatic change. I like the idea of guiding the killer away from the hook or survivors to generators, but punishing camping is ridiculous.

Generators already progress if your teammates aren't crazy people.

Yes @Nos37 couldn't have said it better my self.
@Shaped I don't think its over kill as its not directly punishing anyone, but rewarding the people camping tries to hurt. If you dont Like it you could still camp but from far enough away to not give the bonus, and creates an honest chance of rescue. Or even just make this a perk to be ran.
An other idea would be to blind/stun a killer for being to close to a rescue. Say its the energy released from pulling a survivor out of the grasp of the entity.
I don't log nearly enough hour's to ever reach red or purple ranks before a reset, especially during our busy work seasons, so a de-pip penalty is relatively inconsequential when i do camp (they always deserve it) but if i knew that in trying to punish one i was helping 2 or 3, i wouldn't do it. Rank doesn't matter, killing does.
