Not Many Killer Cosmetics?

I've noticed that survivors have been getting a lot more cosmetics then what Killers are getting, like for example, Seeing the new leaks for the next set of cosmetics Survivors get like 7 new outfits (Nea, Claudette, Min, Ace, Dwight, Meg and David), while killers only get 3 (Hill-Billy, Hag and Trapper)

I don't know, as a killer main i find it kinda unfair that we don't have a whole lot of customization to pick from since where so limited, while survivor mains literally have an entire attire to choose from....

Patience my friend. I think it's just a matter of time, before more outfits will arrive.

Survivor represent 80% of the community, so it would be bad strategy not to focus on survivor cosmetics

Also, most of the survivor cosmetics seem to just be re-colours

but if that's the case; then it practically shows that the developers don't care very much for killers mains and that we will get tired and bored of the same stuff and leave, without killers there is no match?

Not really; the new Feng, Ace, Nea and David sets completely changes the way they look

You should know that this is already the case if you are following the game for a bit longer than a few months.
For some reason, the game is extremely addicting and that stops many killers from leaving the game. I count myself to those, for some reason I always come back after each event where I get bullied heavily and switched to another game.

Another problem is that if devs make one side too easy, it would produce problems with the 1:4 ration and queue times would rise.
Look at BBQ for example, the 100% BP bonus is insane if you think about it, but it actually is needed in order to get enough killers play the game as killer. Imagine if survivors would earn as much BP as killers do, we would probably lose 70-80% of the killer population

I have been watching this game for nearly a year, and i could say for the longest time it has always been survivor side through most of it, from the instant flashlight stun buff, to freddy being nerfed too hell; Killer mains have gone through hell with the decisions the developers have made against them.
I remember one of my favourite youtubers "truetalent" had a match where the survivors scrubbed the floor with him when he was playing billy, the constant purple flashlight stuns, pallet looping, teabagging and so on; it was bad...

I'm just surprised some killer mains have stuck out this long; but i know for a fact half of previous mains in the past got fed up with it and went to survivor side.

killer cosmetics are bit more tricky. For survivor outfits you can take real life clothes and boom that's it. for killer you need them to be a bit more original and scary...
plus, MAKING the clothes for survivor is easier.

Although survivors do indeed get more options, the killer's definitely get higher quality options overall.

Look at the first two cosmetic DLCs: The 80's Pack vs the Bloodstained Sack.

Every single option in the former was a re-skin of already existing customisation options, while 80% of the latter was an entire new model. (The 20% being the paint on the Wraith's face and poncho.)

Survivors do have more content in the store, but the majority of it are re-textures, and even some of the new models look very similar to already existing ones.

For example, compare the Trapper's welding helmet and apron to Dwight's hoodie and shorts. They're both entirely new models, but one obviously took more effort to make and looks far more impressive as a result.

I would think they put more time an need to put more thought into killer skins than survivor. Just my opinion tho.

It's easier to make outfits for survivors than killers sinse you may also notise that the killers outfits really change thier whole look.

May also be because they began making the outfist for the survivors and left some other outfits for the killers in progress.

Survivors I'd imagine also have a much more "copy and paste" model allowing for easier and faster cosmetics, as with killer their model probably requires much more tweaking on the art teams part being all rather unique in appearance.

I was really disappointed with Billy's cosmetics. I am not even a killer main but I feel for those that are Billy mains. Those cosmetics they have for him leave much to be desired!
