Idea for All Killers
Mayhaps there can be an offering added to the game that protects all totems for the first 3 minutes of the game, like how a few perks stop generators from being worked on already. I feel this will help the higher ranked killers from losing Ruin or Devour Hope within the first 30 seconds, as I've seen that a ton of times on both console and PC. Don't get me wrong, it helps the survivors, but screws the killers. Hope I put this in the right place :)

I would just make better hiding places for totems. They are sometimes so obvious. Also dont make HEXes light up like an lighthouse ... And it would be solved. hexes now on higher rank are unusable ... They get destroyed faster then Nicolas Cage career.

I am sure there are more inventive ways to help improve Hex totems without slapping yet another band-aid on top of everything else in the game.

Yeah. Here's a few.
Improve totem placement for one. No totems should spawn right out in the open or near generators, for obvious reasons.
Make all Hex totems appear as Dull totems until they've been activated by a survivor. Like, the Huntress' Lullaby should lit up when the first survivor misses a skill check. Ruin should lit up when the first survivor hit a good skillcheck and get zapped.. etc.
A mechanic that let Killers reignite the latest Hex that were cleansed, at the cost of time. Hex perks that have stacks, like Lullaby or Devour Hope, should lose a few stacks when their totem is reignited.
Let the effect of a Hex perk last a short duration after it has been cleansed.

Would require a Dull totem, so you can only reignite a Hex so many times before they're gone forever.
