Omg why is this stuff still here??

Seemed entirely fair to me. Some games the gates spawn across the map from one another and the killer has zero chance to patrol both effectively (barring Nurse and maybe Hillbilly) in that instance the RNG favored the survivors. In the case of Monto, the RNG favored him that game.
Have you ever posted here bringing up issues when the gates spawn too far apart? I would wager you have not.
If I'm missing something here, please clarify for me, not trying to come off as disrespectful.
Cheers.

I do, all the time. And you know how I survive?
By not relying on randoms or the hatch. I dont always escape, but I also dont have the issue of "omg we didnt get ######### done but I cant get out now because the doors are too close meeeehhhhhhhh".
Because it's not the objective. The gens are.
Not to mention a "good swf" can snowball just as badly and lose as well.
Either way, if you and the randoms didnt get work done, why would you expect an escape? Does it suck to get bad teammates? Absolutely. But what's worse is thinking you deserve a free escape simply because you had a bad game or a mismatched team.
Some games will not go well. Period.
Besides the fact that if EGC is 100% loss (which it isnt), it's still better than 100% loss requiring 45 mins of sitting around first.
It does its job.

I think most survivors have forgotten EGC was not made to give survivors a last risky attempt at escaping. EGC was put in to prevent games going on forever and stuff like hatch standoffs and survivors taunting at the exit gates keeping the killer in the game until they decide to attack and finish their taunt by walking through the exit point. That's what it is if the survivors Failed to complete the gens and the last survivor failed to find the hatch first. You dont automatically deserve to escape through the EGC its just there to end the game so everyone can get into their next game same reason closing the hatch was added

Is it that ######### hard to code fixed gate spawns? You guys did it with Lerys and the Game.

How does it screw the killer?

Losing bc of bad luck is bullshit.
If the killer runs any kind of detection perk like Whispers the EGC is over regardless of where the gates spawn. Make it a gamble for both sides. Gates spawn on separate walls far AF apart from each other.

Killers have perks to help detect Surviviors and have to gamble just like Surviviors do. Even playing field.

In other words: pray to the RNG gods.

This wasn't in the game before end game update anyway so not an issue, you get bloods for opening the gate anyway only get 5k for surviving so only really lost out on around 4k bloods
