The Dc problem

Right now a lot of people DC from the game. Its a big problem. And most DC are all on the survivor side.

Everyone hates the DC-ing. But in fairness, the DC-ing of survivors is not the problem, its a sign that there is a bigger problem in this game on the survivor side. Something that dedicated servers wont solve.

The real problem with people DC-ing is the fact that playing survivor really isnt fun anymore. Its meta to be camped and tunnelled to death now. Every round you face the same perks, with sometimes just a variation of 1 perk. But every killer just runs ruin, noed and BBQ and one perk by choice. Every round its search the damn ruin totem, watch how someone gets camped, see some dumbass still moving in and then see the killer tunnel the same damn survivor. Doesnt end there. They do it to the next survivor they find and the next. As a survivor, you are just screwed? just do gens? then how are you supposed to rank up? Cause its more then likely you will die to so no survive points..and also no altruistic points cause you cant save if you want to punish the camp. So thats 2 categories without points.

Every single round as a survivor you have to do real work to get 20k points. While a killer can just go afk at a hook and still get 20k points. trust me, i tried it to see how many points i would get. I ended up with 21k points for absolutely being lazy that round and dont do anything but camp.

Most of the times survivor player solo walks away with less then 10k points. While a bad killer who just camps walks away like he played like God himself. Its just ridiculous how easy you get points as a killer.

I didnt play this game for 2 weeks as a survivor main cause i really got tired of all the bullshit you have to put up with as a survivor. just did 2 rounds. First one got tunnelled to death, second one all of us rank 12 got put with a tryhard rank 6 killer. I didnt even moved ten steps before he had me. Game decided to put me right next to the killer. On the hook, got saved outside terror radius. Got downed after ten steps again,. yeah, its one of those rounds again. I dc-ed. I am just tired of people like that. I cant play this game anymore like that. So i ended the game again, not gonna touch it for a few weeks and then think: it cant be that bad. And then play 2 games again and realize quickly again why i dont play this anymore.

And from all the dc-ing going on, I am not the only one who just doesnt like the game no more. the dc isnt the problem, the way the game is for survivors right now is. Everything is based now for 4 man toxic swf. but what if you are not swf, or just a normal SWF? Why balance the game around 5% procent tryharding?

And why not balance the game for survivors by giving us perks to actually deal with a gameplay that 99% of the killers have seem to have adepted as the only playstyle they know? And that really makes the game so unfun survivor sided?

i also think the whole C thing happens more and more because some players are just for lack of a better word babies about getting downed at anytime during the game when something happens to them that they dont like. I know people want to do good in a game but thats all it is a game, people take this game so seriously as if its life and death. And you cant argue they want to rank up, because their rank will be reset anyway so you work to rank up to level 1 just to be brought back to level 20 every month.

I don’t see dcs as much as people say and of course you’ll see more survivors dc than killers since we have four survivors and one killer.

Logically it makes sense. They get downed quickly, and decide "do i want to stay to get camped/tunneled to death or do i want to try to find a new game quickly that might be fun?"

thats the chance you take with a game like this. Thats why the game needs more then just the one true game mode it has, even if kill your friends allowed you to get bloodpoints would be a welcome change, it just suck show the game requires you to trust people you dont know

Love how you bundled all killers into one group while defending the people violating terms of service for selfish reasons..makes your argument really convincing I must say

If a person dcs on first hook, that's on them. If they dc because of a toxic slugger (I still don't understand why people actually defend slugging an entire team), that's fine. I do it myself. I'm not going to wait three minutes just so the killer can get his jollies off on it.

Meaning, it depends on the reason for the dc. Just because you were first down, that's an issue. But if the team/killer are toxic/poor net connection, it's more acceptable.
