Sooooo, all yesterday and today I have been put up against almost nothing but rank 15 to 20 survivors, what is the problem here?
I’m a rank 1 killer
I have been ( understandably ) been getting lots of hate mail and it is really annoying and boring. Is anyone else experiencing this?
I’m on Xbox by the way

Matchmaking clearly means "Enjoy getting crushed by a rank 1"

I've noticed this too. Was playing in full group swf. Most of them red ranks lowest was rank 8. We get rank 19 to 13 killers.

Its that fabled New Player Experience™ that Dead by Daylight is known to provide.
I am sure those survivors will stick around to play some more after getting annihilated by some utterly useless matchmaking system.
