New chapter idea + killers + survivors

I'm anxious about my idea so bare with me if this sounds ambiguous, I am very underprepared for this.

My name is Smile and I admit I am a fanfiction writer but I have been working on this for a few days now and one of my friends suggested that I share this here.

As the title suggests, this is some form of chapter idea complete with survivors and maybe one or two killers?

I don't have much art on me so once more, bare with me.

Extreme disclaimer- I drew the perk icon concept art with microsoft paint and whilst using a computer mouse.

I'll begin with the killer. 'The Wildcard'

Name: Pauline MacGuffin


Alias: ‘The Wildcard’


Age: 19


Usual outfit: Tracksuit and a mask


Preferred weapon: Hunting knife

She has since developed a cynical and aggressive attitude to mask that she's regretful and self-loathing.

ANGUISH STRIKE- Once this skill is active a random effect will be applied when a survivor is struck. the skill will wear off after 5 seconds.


RUNNER GUTS- Having a slight love for running, you can force yourself to break into a sprint. The killer will able to sprint for 3 seconds.

Hunter’s Knife- a knife that has a jagged top and a sharp edge, engraved on the hilt is the initials ‘J.D’, marking the owner as one of Pauline’s fallen friends.

Gorey Hunter's Knife (variation of hunter's knife)- Stained with red regrets, you remind yourself you want to leave and never come back.


Abigail’s Ring- A silver ring that has an ‘A’ engraved on the top, this was taken from Fun’s body, it seems to have once belonged to Abigail Thomson and it’s unusually warm and fills you with energy. (This slightly increases the speed of the killer)


Christian’s driver’s licence- It’s an old driver’s licence with a picture of a guy and the name reads ‘Christian Wolferum’, this was taken from Hex’s body. This was the one remaining friend Abigail had. the eyes of the picture have been scratched out and you can feel anger from it. (this fills up the power bar faster)


Pauline B’s ID- It’s the ID for a girl called ‘Pauline Baxter’, this was taken from Doc’s body. This was one of Abigail’s friends, it’s covered in blood and it makes you feel irritated. (this increases the chance of a random effect being more potent)


Nick’s prescription glasses- It’s a pair of cracked glasses with a prescription attached to it for a ‘Nick Stanley’, this was taken from Fix’s body. This was one of Abigail’s friends, if you look through the glasses, you swear you see someone standing a mere few inches away from your face. (this increases the killer’s fear radius)


Bobby’s Ring- It’s a steel ring made for a male with all the roman numerals carved into it, inside reads ‘happy birthday, Bobby’. This was taken from Pin’s body, it once belonged to one of Abigail’s friends and it’s unusually cold and makes you feel hopeless. (this decreases the speed of the killer however raises the chance of a more powerful effect being placed on a survivor)


Special item- Burning Ring- this ring seems to be a ring silver but it’s glowing red and the A engraved onto it is a deep black, despite it glowing, it feels cold to the touch and there are intense anger and sadness coming from it and you can hear Abigail Thomson screaming for help. (Killer gains ability to use bottle on self for chance at random buffs for 15 seconds)


Outfit options


Casual tracksuit- When you feel a love for running, you just gotta wear black and white!

Bloodied regret (variation of casual tracksuit)- Smelling a mixture of old sweat and new blood make you sick to your stomach, you want to escape and wash the slate clean.


WILDCARD SUIT- If you’re sick of living in purgatory, rip off the sleeves of your tracksuit, roll in the dirt a little and make knife sheaths ‘cause you know the Entity will never let you go and that sucks.

RED WILDCARD SUIT (variation of WILDCARD SUIT)- If you're sick of living in purgatory, the blood on your skin and on your tracksuit are your only reminders that you can never leave, not whilst it still exists.


Fun suit- Nothing like giving some lead killer a final 'frick you' by wearing their clothes. Turns out Fun really knew how to dress though! Not easy to move in leather trousers though, what was he thinking with the leather.


Damn mask- the hubris of mankind in the form of a mask, it looks similar to Fun’s mask as it appears to be a clown until you see it’s nothing but red and it’s been defaced into a frown and on the forehead, there’s ‘damn’ written in sharpie.

Extra red damn mask (variation of damn mask)- The hubris of mankind in the form of a mask, you may not be able to see it but every time you breathe in, you can smell the iron blood and you want to throw up.



WILDCARD MASK- From smashing your face against the ground when the survivors have run off a bit too fast, the mask is screwed. it no longer says ‘damn’ on the forehead, it now says ‘lamn’ and the plastic scratched to hell. If your sick of living in purgatory, this is the mask for you. ######### ‘lamn’…

REGRETFUL WILDCARD MASK (variation of WILDCARD MASK)- From stabbing the survivors when they couldn't run away fast enough, you can't see but can smell their blood and you feel sick to your stomach.



Fun mask- Nothing like giving some lead killer a final 'frick you' by wearing their clothes, you're not entirely comfortable with the full on clown mask but you'll made do. The clown mask wears purple eyeshadow, has a red nose and red cheeks and yellow lips, all the rest is white and there is three stars under each eye, it looks too damn similar to Pauline's mask.


Perks


Hexing Fun- You remember the sick grin on Fun's face and Hex's laughter as you strangled them with their own rope, might as well use that to rile yourself up. For every dull totem that is destroyed, you gain a token and a new totem will spawn, when it reaches the maximum of 3 tokens you are able to press the 'interact' button and able to see up to three survivors however the survivors will get a notification because the Entity will appear at their feet.

Bloodied Memory- You remember Abigail running away from her own ring because of who had it in their hand, just think of how that could affect you. When the gate is powered if you engage chase, you instantly get level 2 bloodlust.


Stray-

Stray desc: When you feel lost but you're never put on a leash, something's bound to happen. If you enter chase with a survivor a certain distance, your lunge range will increase

Stray tier 1- Enter chase at 50 metres, lunge range increases by 15% [slightly]

Stray tier 2- Enter chase at 40 metres, lunge range increases by 15% [slightly]

Stray tier 3- Enter chase at 30 metres, lunge range increases by 25% [moderately]

The inspiration for this 'reincarnation' came from a vote I set up for what the followers on my quotev would want me to write in terms of Dead By Daylight fanfiction and they liked the idea of reincarnation thus the reaction of Pauline and three survivors. The inspiration of Pauline herself came from an essay I wrote in school where Abigail, Pauline's past self, returned to the town which her friends died so she could find a ring only for Abigail and her remaining friend Christian to be murdered by the 5 killers there.

I was admittedly inspired by The Legion for The Masked group, I never developed them apart from their names and the reference to Fun's mask being a clown mask but I can say The Masked group were pack hunters that worked on a system where they would assign themselves a survivor and go for them but there was too many of them and not enough survivors, they'd go for all of them and there was too many survivor they'd wait then go for each survivor one by one. They'd each have their own way of killing their victims- Fun would slit his victim's throat, Hex would drag away and hang their victims with a rope, Doc would gut his victims, Pin would usually hook his victims for the entity but occasionally he would stab them and Fix would mutilate his victims and stick their body parts in random places. Despite their pack hunting system, Fun and Hex were considered the leaders of the group and that's all I have for my notes.

Now... killer map, oh boy. I have functionally NO drawing for this map but all I know is that it's gonna be an old abandoned town in the middle of the forest and there will hints to the past life such as bodies appearing/disappearing and the masks of the original killers shown in some places.

Now survivors.

These survivors were created to be assigned to already existing killers. Which could possibly complicate things.

To make things easier for myself, I decided name the janitor the Legion killed 'Adam'.

The Legion reincarnation survivor:

Name: Amy Rorikstead


Age: 19


Height: 5'8"


Usual outfit: black 'KISS' t-shirt, black leather jacket with DIY shoulder studs, black jeans, bright red shoes


Origin: Amy is the reincarnation of the janitor that was murdered by The Legion, he was killed when he arrived to clean the store Joey was recently fired from and Frank stabbed in the back and he fell and then demanded the others finish what they started. Susie protested so Frank yelled at her that they need to, Joey stabbed the janitor in the ribs, Juliet stabbed him in the chest and Frank forced Susie to stab him in the throat. The janitor's body was stashed in the boot of Joey's car and the group drove up Mount Ormond and the group began burying the janitor in a shallow grave. After that, the group was never heard from again. 


Amy was born nine months later to Eva and Markus Rorkistead, she had very specific birthmarks on her back, ribs, chest and throat that almost resembled knife wounds but thinking it was just concidence, Eva and Markus ignored this. Throughout Amy's early childhood, she'd describe weird dreams she'd have, she'd always say she was a fully grown man who worked as a janitor in a store and that she had a wife and kids in this dream. Eva and Markus laughed this off as her mind being creative until when she was 6 years old she described the death of the janitor, calling the Legion 'a group of scary big kids', saying the shop her past-self worked in and saying she doesn't know where the first wound is but she knows she was stabbed in the exact locations of her birthmarks, her parents looked at each other in worry and decided to play it off as her watching or reading stuff she shouldn't. She soon talked about her old imaginary friend 'Adam' and how he said he was a janitor until some kids killed him and buried him up on Mount Ormond. Curious, Eva looked up if there were any missing people called 'Adam' and to her surprise, Adam was a janitor that worked at the exact shop Amy mentioned and no one had heard of him in a long time ever since he went to work one night. Amy's parents were terrified because Amy couldn't have known who Adam was and the exact shop he worked in and known he was murdered but due to having no evidence, they didn't report it to the police. Amy continued growing up, still suffering flashbacks and knowing this wasn't the first time she was alive but she went into a more music-based life, trying to steer away from Adam's life as a custodian. She ended up becoming a big fan of KISS's music and was aiming to become a musician herself.


When she was 19, she made friends with a couple of urban explorers that were interested in places with deaths and believed in reincarnation, a wanna-be detective and a typical rebellious teen vandal, she told them about her weird experiences and her birthmarks since it involved possibly teenage rebellion and murder. Now interested, when it came to a school holiday, she and her friends went to the shop the janitor was killed in to inquire about, upon hearing that one of their janitors Adam had vanished and there was only blood left behind, a crowbar and some spraypaint. Amy was very surprised and then she described 'Adam' in perfect detail and then said he was murdered by a group of kids and she proved it by showing her birthmarks and explaining they were stab wounds that carried onto the next life and she described the culprits. The owner of the shop froze and said the kids she described went missing the same day that Adam did. Amy and her group left the shop and debated where the kids that they now knew were called Frank Morrison, Susie, Juliet and Joey. Amy had a flashback to seeing a snowy place and hearing the sounds of digging and suggested they might have taken Adam up the mountain. During the journey, Amy had several flashbacks and feelings of deja vu until they reached the final resting place of Adam and called the police and told them about the grave. After they got off the call, they began searching for any signs of the missing kids, they turned up multiple old footprints that were headed in the same direction so they followed them. During that, fog surrounded them and a feeling of pure and utter dread washed over Amy. She knew Frank and his friends were around and she knew Frank would be very displeased to see her if he found out who she used to be.

Alive! desc: ''Livin' as you do and I'm watchin' you' because you remember everything.

Alive! tier 1: The killer will lift up survivors 10% slower and become 10% more vulnerable to flashlight blinding.

Alive! tier 2: The killer will lift up survivors 20% more slower and become 15% more vulnerable to flashlight blinding.

Alive! tier 3: The Killer will lift up survivors 30% more slower and become 20% more vulnerable to flashlight blinding.

Destroyer desc: 'Call all your friends in the neighbourhood and get the party started' because you can remember a thing or two thanks to one of your friends being a vandal. When repairing a generator use the skill check button when there is no skill check to be faced with a moderately difficult skill check, if you succeed the gen will become trapped. If the killer kicks it they will applied with a random debuff. This can be seen by the killer in the form of smoke coming off the gen. This is on a token system and only three generators can be trapped per match.

Destroyer tier 1: Debuff will last 10 seconds.

Destroyer tier 2: Debuff will last 20 seconds.

Destroyer tier 3: Debuff will last 30 seconds.

Psycho Circus: 'I've waiting here to be your guide' because you want everyone to get out alive. Once you open a gate, you're able to see the positions of the killer and other survivors for 5 seconds.

The inspiration of Amy came from an old essay I wrote but never submitted in school where the girl was some sort of musician and sort of a rebellious teen. Amy may not be rebellious but she is a musician. Upon seeing that the Legion had mixtapes, I immediately thought, I need another reference to the time of mixtapes! So guess who was also rising to fame around the time of mixtapes? the band KISS! So I made Amy a very clear KISS fan and named her three perks after three of their albums.

I was originally intending to build Amy's perks in such a way that she would hinder the Legion a lot but I decided against it and make her perks a lot more ambiguous and effective in their own ways other than hindering the Legion.

I currently have no other outfit options for Amy.

Now the Huntress reincarnation survivor-

Name: Monika Smirnov


Age: 25


Height: 5'10"


Occupation: fitness instructor and outdoors enthusiast (with a hobby of documenting urban legends)


Usual outfit: Green t-shirt that has a tree on it and 'freedom' in Russian, blue jeans, casual boots and denim jacket


Origin: Monika was once a lost traveller that stumbled into the red forest in The Huntress's years of being able to hunt humans and it's said this traveller was her first human victim. The body of the traveller was found three weeks after their death, covered in multiple gash wounds and they were buried in an unmarked grave outside the red forest.


Monika was born in 1994, years after the death of this traveller and she had unusual birthmarks across her arms and torso and one on her leg. When she was old enough to talk complete sentences, she said to her mother 'I had a different mommy until I got lost in the forest and a lady hacked me up with her axe and now you're my mommy!'. Through the rest of her childhood, she had frequent flashbacks of her previous life and she'd draw them and present them to her mother who was concerned and sometimes horrified at her child's artwork. Monika whoever began to have fewer flashbacks and she started to live a normal life, she had a newfound love for the outdoors and found an interest in inspiring others to be healthy. By the time she turned 19 she was a frequent hiker and was looking for jobs involving healthy lifestyles and by the time she was 22 she had become a fitness instructor.


She had a flashback one day and suddenly recognised the forest she saw in her flashbacks as the red forest and knew it was something involving her past and she contacted her elderly mother, inquiring about her drawings as a child. After hearing her mother's memory she realised reincarnation was real and she wanted to find out who her past life's killer was so she'd have a sense of closure. She packed a bag, called in a fake sick day and headed to the red forest where she discovered the grave of her past self. She knew the culprit was dangerous since she figured out her birthmarks were injures that her past self that sustained in their final moments but she didn't allow herself to be afraid and headed into the forest and fog surrounded her. She suddenly felt like she shouldn't be inside the forest and that she had angered someone who was meant to be long dead. 


PERKS


Lost Traveller- You remember everything so once you wander away from your friends, you become hyper aware of where they are. If you are away from other survivors at a certain distances and for a certain time you'll able to aura-read the other survivors.

Lost Traveller tier 1- 40 metres for 40 seconds to gain ability.

Lost Traveller tier 2- 30 metres for 30 seconds to gain ability.

Lost Traveller tier 3- 20 metres for 20 seconds to gain ability.


Animal Friend- Due to your love of the outdoors you seem to command wildlife itself. Gain the ability to place crows on lockers that set off at certain times to distract the killer and are on a 90 second cooldown.

Animal Friend tier 1- Crows will set off at 15 seconds.

Animal Friend tier 2- Crows will set off at 20 seconds.

Animal Friend tier 3- Crows will set off on command.

Keep Quiet- you've learned to bite your tongue and stay quiet.

Keep Quiet tier 1- Your breathing and footsteps are reduced by 20%

I was originally intending to have Monika Smirnov be the reincarnation of a German soldier until I realised that would reincarnating a Nazi so I changed it to a earlier victim, a lost traveller.

I was intending to create a survivor that would hinder The Huntress a lot but not be specifically modelled for Huntress.

I was hilariously informed that Pauline MacGuffin aka The Wildcard looked more Russian than Monika because Pauline wears a tracksuit.

I currently do not have any more outfit options for Monika.

Now for the Michael Myers reincarnation survivor-

Name: Carly Maze


Age: 28


Height: 6'0"


Usual outfit: A white t-shirt that has a black and red stylised ace-of-spades on it with 'lucky you' around it, blue boyfriend jeans, black work boots and a hooded faux leather jacket.


Origin: Carly was once truck driver Christopher Hastings. Christopher was murdered by Michael Myers so Myers could steal his boiler suit and his body was hidden in tall grass. He was killed October 31th 1978. 


Carly was born October 31st 1991, 13 years after Christopher's death. She was born with two birthmarks on her chest resembling stab wounds that lined up the two fatal blows Christopher suffered, her parents both believed the reincarnation and with the superstition that Myers was still out there, they were protective of her. Their belief that their daughter was the reincarnation of Myers' second victim strengthened when she began talking about being a truck driver and that 'a bad man hurt {her}' and that she was able to describe the truck Christopher drove the night of his death. Carly proceeded to be heavily sheltered, not allowed to go trick-or-treating on Halloween night and had a very set curfew no matter what. When she was around 13, the flashbacks began to come frantic, she'd wake up screaming from witnessing the death of her past self and she wrote about them in order to cope with the trauma of her own mind. By 19 she began secretly researching her past-self and found out the murders that Myers committed and was horrified to see that the entire time she had been seeing Myers, the missing killer on the loose, in her flashbacks. Forward to when she was 27, she was employed as a truck driver, she knew well that she was working the same type of job as Christopher did so she constantly stayed on alert whilst on the job, not wanting to become a victim like her past life but she never did. She befriended some guys from another company and they got onto the topic of Myers, she mentioned her birthmarks and her flashbacks and the men were surprised and then asked if she wanted to go to Haddonfield sometime to see if Myers decided to lurk in his hometown and she stupidly agreed.


One year later, she and her friends drove to Haddonfield and parked their truck a little bit away from the entrance to the town and cautiously walked in. All at once, a fog engulfed them and a spark of fear rose in Carly's chest. Myers was around, and he was expecting her.



Perks

Knowledgeable - You know everything that your killer is capable of, and you know how to avoid them. A nullifying perk on a maximum 2 token- tokens are gain by looking at the killer for 40 seconds without entering chase.

Knowledgeable tier 1- You will have a 30% chance to not trigger traps.

Knowledgeable tier 2- You will have a 40% to nullify certain killer abilities such as The Legion's Feral Frenzy as well still have a 30% chance to not trigger traps.

Knowledgeable tier 3- You will have a 30% to only get the deep wound debuff from the chainsaw (Hillbilly and Cannibal) as well have a 40% chance to nullify certain killer abilities and 30% chance to not trigger traps.

A-Maze - You can do a lot of things that many aren’t aware of, let’s see if the killer has done their homework. Whilst in chase you’ll be able to see a path leading towards vaults and pallets.

[I can't draw mazes- it's meant to be a big maze with no exit- I got half way there]



A Kicker - You hate being lifted and when it’s clear what someone is gonna do, you want to kick them. You can kick the killer whilst being carried to stun them for 4 seconds but the chance to kick them depends upon the endurance of the killer.

I wanted to create a semi-powerful survivor that would hinder many killers, including Myers but not be overpowered as shown by the Knowledgeable perk.

I also used the knowledgeable perk to show how much Carly knows about certain killers, since the knowledgeable perk is effectively useless against The Pig, it shows she doesn't know enough about The Pig to know how to hinder her.

I also made her more a fighter shown by the 'a kicker' perk, being literally able to kick the killer and give her a chance to wiggle.

I will happily take feedback if there is something not quite right.

THOUGHT #1- ADDED 01/09/2019:

What if The Wildcard could remove her mask for a certain amount of time and that would just get rid of her terror radius completely for that amount of time- since she is 'The Wildcard', I kind of like the thought of she's able to disguise herself as another survivor- this is what my friend thought initially- when I said that her title was the Wildcard, my friend said 'are they a survivor that could be the killer?', what if I can incorporate that initial idea?

So I did development on the killers that Pauline MacGuffin The Wild Card. I've initialized that The Mask was not a healthy group of killers.

Hex was serial killer before Fun or The Entity came along and Fun has a god complex and is very sadistic, Doc and Pin are so badly manipulated by Fun that they cannot function without his orders, Fix is more lucid than Doc and Pin but he is terrified of what Fun could do to him.

I'm using present as I got inspired by a fanfiction I read a while ago where the writer portrayed that the killers can be killed but more often than not, they will come back out of the void- sometimes different, sometimes not.

So It may be actually 6 killers this fan chapter is gonna be getting. The Wildcard and The Masked.

Fun- Dark red skin-tight shirt with a black military jacket, black leather pants and black combat boots

Hex- Black hoodie, blue suit jacket, blue jeans and blue trainers

Pin- Grey jumper, Red zip-up hoodie with the hood up and sleeves rolled up, black joggers, white trainers

Doc- white button-up shirt, tan suit jacket, black trousers, black dress shoes

Fix- grey sleeveless hoodie, ripped blue jeans, black trainers

MASKED- Torn up black military coat that's buttoned up- one sleeve has been replaced with the top half of a sleeve from a tan suit jacket and the bottom half of a sleeve from a blue suit jacket- the other sleeve is completely missing and showing the torn up sleeve of a dark red skin-tight shirt, underneath the military jacket is a grey hoodie but the hood is far too ripped up to be pulled up, torn black trousers- one leg has been 'repaired' with the leg of a pair of blue jeans, wears a black dress shoe on one foot and the other foot wears a very muddy white trainer.

Main abilities:

Pack Hunter- There is no escaping the Masked. When an obsession is hit, they will receive a randomised debuff for 30 seconds.

Melded- When five become one, there's only a single way to survive. [This ability will only be available to MASKED- the amalgamation of the five]

Melded allows you to switch masks to use certain different abilities.

Melded when using Fun's mask: When being in chase for 30 seconds you will gain a temporarily increased lunge range and be able to instantly put survivors in dying stage. The mask will also gives you a 1.15 speed base and during the chase MASKED throw his knife into the void and transform into a shadow beast. After switching out of Fun's mask, it will be on a 90 second cooldown.

Melded when using Hex's mask: Gain the ability to constantly hear breathing- the breathing will get louder the closer you get to a survivor but in return the survivors will hear whispering the closer you get. The mask also gives you a 1.10 speed base. After switching out of Hex's mask, it will be on a 60 second cooldown.

Melded when using Fix's mask: Terror radius becomes map-wide so heartbeat mode is constantly active for survivors, granting extra stealth however the heartbeat will speed up the closer you get to a survivor. HEX PERK- Unlucky Ace: Fix's problems never go away and it's said his bad luck is a bit infectious, never seems to affect the dealer, only the player. Whenever this hex is active all actions but gen repair are slowed.

Unlucky Ace tier 1- 6% slower

Unlucky Ace tier 2- 8% slower

Unlucky Ace tier 3- 10% slower


ADDED DEBUFFS:

Strangled: Survivor breathing becomes 20% louder and all actions except for generator repair are 5% slower.

Shadowed: Similar to blindness- Survivor's vision is completely black except for a circle in the middle. Terror radius heartbeat randomly triggers even if killer isn't near.

Gutted: Survivor leaves a trail of blood with this debuff and all actions except for vaulting are 5% slower.

ADDED SURVIVOR ITEM:

Soft wooden boards: Plywood boards. They can be applied to windows to stop the killer from vaulting them, survivors will probably a unique animation of them crawling through a gap in the wooden boards, killers will have to break the boards [their animations will probably range from them either pulling them down, cutting them down or literally crashing through them.]
