A Tongue-In-Cheek Killer Idea — The Salt
I made this guy up as a joke, but heck, maybe people will actually like the concept!
The Salt is essentially a mummified survivor - without the mummy wraps. He’s all dry and shriveled like salt-packed meat. He wears a selection of tattered, mismatched clothing available to current survivors.
His weapon is a mallet with the barely visible word “nurf” etched on the side. (Misspelled nerf intentionally to avoid any legal issues with the toy gun people).
Special Power: Briny Tears of Rage
This power doesn’t directly hurt survivors, but increases the killer’s detection abilities. When the killer comes within 6 meters of scratch marks, he can activate Briny Tears of Rage for a short duration (maybe 10 seconds).
The red glowing scratch marks solidify into salt deposits. The killer sees them as yellow, but survivors see them as a dull grey or black (like Hag traps). Anytime a survivor walks across this salt, the killer is alerted to the location with noise notifications. Survivors hear a light crunching, but nothing too obvious. Stepping on salt destroys that patch of the trail, but it otherwise sticks around indefinitely. The killer does not damage the trail when running across it.
There is no delay between each noise notification. Therefore, if a survivor runs along a line of salt, the killer will see a real-time trail of notification bubbles appear (the way Spies From the Shadows used to work).
Perks
Hex: “That’s Not Fair” - When a survivor begins cleansing this totem, they cannot cancel the action until the cleansing is complete or they are attacked/grabbed. During the cleansing, they will be faced with 6/9/12 skill checks of moderate difficulty. Missing a skill check causes a loud scream, but still does not cancel the cleansing action.
T-bag: If a survivor within your terror radius squats 4/3/2 times within a 1-second period, they will scream, stumble, and suffer from Hindered for 5 seconds.
SooperLooper: You become obsessed with 1 survivor. Every 3rd/2nd/single time that your obsession passes by a pallet while running, they automatically pull it down.

I like the hex idea. That can combo with Thrill of the hunt to create a trap. Maybe even with Huntress Lullaby. My only suggestion is to make it effect all hex totems.
I also like the third perk, since it counters Spirit/Enduring that is popular. It encourages a Brutal Strength/Looper combo.

Also, make T-Bag give them Exposed, as they've incurred the wrath of The Salt by insulting him so! Lol
