What does everyone think about the Spirit?
I personally love the spirit both as killer and survivor, as she provides a challenge for me and other survivors to face, and also that she is powerful but hard to learn. What does everyone think of her?

As killer: The mind games are fun AH to play!
As survivor: ONLY if the killer mains her or dominates her it's one of the hardest games ever. No tunneling nor camping has to be involved for me to categorize this killer as fun to play against.

I love her, Her power can be used in chase but also help give map pressure. My only issue with her is prayer beads, While I think it's fun to have a scary game like that once in a while I can see how it can be a bit OP.
I don't understand the hate around her lately from survivors. Not every Killer needs a Direct counter it's asymmetrical for a reason. I feel like if they added more counterplay to spirit it'd wreck her, Her power is kind of fragile that way.

I don’t play her much since my earbuds broke but she is fun to play and play against, she doesn’t have too much counter play but she isn’t impossible to beat.

Because shes hard to counter efficiently even if you know what your doing. So everyone yells for a nerf so they can get a easier game. Sad part is she has a bug letting you know she's in phase. Yet people still can't seem to figure her out. Her biggest strength is chases and mind games. Yet her single strongest weakness is actually a competent stealth player. People dont want to adapt to using stealth they prefer to loop a killer who effectively is designed to have the best chase potential outside of Nurse in the game.

Many people ( me included ) agree that she is the second best killer in the game. Some people think she is a skillful and rewarding killer to play and you can outplay her as a survivor. Other people think she has no counter play in a chase, that she is like old Legion and they want her to be nerfed into the ground.

Yes, but not the cut up parts... I also think plague is hot if you ignore the diseased part.
Kinda wish we had a pre death spirit skin or a pre-plague plague skin. I would get those in a heartbeat

I've never understood what's so fun about rolling the dice constantly and hoping she either messes up or that you got lucky and guessed right.
There is no mindgame there for a good Spirit. I get why people play her, the power trip is nice after playing a killer like Wraith, but my days, I couldn't main her personally.

Imo shes the best designed killer in the game.... right next to huntress..... the devs hit the nail on the head with her chapter update..... shes waifu material <3 and her perks are amazing.... shes a challenge to play as and against which is what I look for..... I can't praise the devs enough for her design...

I absolutely love her! She is the only character in the entire game that deserves the title “killer” imo.. like come on man she still a deadly threat even when she is just standing still. Only thing i hate about her is her op addons (prayer beads)

With Huntress, Pig and Plague, she is my favorite killer. I love how creative her power is and also her lore

I love her so much, as a survivor, it feels nice to be terrified of a killer and constantly on edge watching out for her phase, I very much enjoy facing them, unless they never use their power.
As killer, she became my main on day one of her launch and I mastered her quickly, allowing me to finally open up from being a survivor main to enjoying killer. I'm now learning other killers with the tactics I grew to use from playing her. If it wasn't for her, I very well might have never played killer more than just for Rituals. She's very important to me :D

Spirit's power vs. an injured survivor is no skill. All they have to do is follow scratch marks and scurry around until they are suddenly blocked by an 'invisible wall', letting them know when to stop for an easy down.

And it's the survivors fault for not being unpredictable mate... if the survivor runs in a straight line, sits at a pallet, goes for an obvious window or makes a bad play in general -----> that's their fault/mistake.... you can see multiple people in this thread that praise her for what shes brought to the game.

Very fun to play, especially with PGTW, stops chases almost insantly, strong and fun, rare.
ON the other hand, counterplay is not to get hit when she follows your sound and scratchmarks.

Boring to go against. I actually gate versing spirits. Doesn't matter if main or noob, if I outplay the spirit the whole time or not. It's a boring experience for me.

The rolling dice isnt even the biggest issue. The issue as survivor you role the dice, while the spirit has enough information to react and down you. Even when you guess correctly as survivor, usually the spirit has enough room to correct and react.

Spirit has enough informations to analyse that beeing unpredictable won't help much. Especially while beeing injured without iron will.
Unlike Nurse. Beeing unpredictable against Nurse works and is really fun. Against spirit it's just rolling the dice, constantly guessing

the many friends I play with and even the spirits we go against can say otherwise. Mind gaming unpredictably doesn't even matter as I said, the killer only has to move around until they are stopped. This along with the player's predictions of where the survivor would go regardless makes it all the more pointless for the survivor. Still love the poo out of her though.

Finding it hard to agree.... any solid nurse can put any survivor that's trying to be unpredictable on their face... to an extent the same can be said for spirit only the spirit is limited in her power and lacks in mobility and the with that the ability to recover when mistakes are made

I have friends that call legion OP and others who call billy OP, doesn’t make it true. You can still counter her without iron will but it’ll be much harder.

Billy and legion cannot be compared to the spirit, but that point is fair. As the devs have said before, it depends on the player's skill with the killer that can define the fate of the match.

I completely agree. It's honestly such a shame that Majority of survivor players refuse to play stealthy, The game could utilize stealthy gameplay and bring in some vairety to trials and killers but all anyone wants to do is loop and if a Killer can shut down loops their instantly seen as OP and needing nerfs when there is counterplay in place but it's outside of their playstyle.
Stealthy players against Spirit are a nightmare, Spirit is the killer I play the most and a Calm Spirit Urban evading team who know how to run from a spirit is very difficult to go against.

I used to think she has high skill ceiling until I played her for some time. It turned out I was wrong.
Playing as spirit is very fun, playing against her is not.
Getting a perfect 4k with spirit never made me satisfied. It feels like I am cheating.
She is one of the only 3 killers that stand a chance against 4 very good survivors. She is very strong but only overpowered with certain addons.
Her ability has no reliable counter play. I believe removing her collision while phasing and changing the rarity of prayer beads to ultra rare would be healthier for the game. Other than that, no nerfs are necessary.

Clearly a labor of love by the devs..added new life to the higher ranks , her power, her ambiance , the spine chilling feeling that keeps you on your toes when chasing , man I love it a lot..rewards good play while also allowing the chase to turn into something new besides "ok 2 more times around this pallet then I'll drop it "
